Hear, hear. First, take stand firm, then guard.ianwilliams wrote:Stand Firm. Its probably the best skill in the game. Not only can you never be pushed back unless you want to be, but you can just try dodges for fun.
Give him Guard next. On a double dodge.
He will rock.

In our league my first double on an orc blitzer was clearly frenzy since this guy keeps the wide zones pretty much free of opponents. This results in more space on the pitch for your team to control. Now hes the player with most Starplayer points in our entire league. With mighty blow and possibly tackle as his next skill hell be a terror for those nasty elven blodgers since frenzy doubles the chance of knocking your opponent down.
Id suggest: take frenzy with your first doubleand mighty blow or tackle as a second skill, take stand firm, then guard with any further doubles. Ignore dodge, there are 2 much dwarfs in this world and most other teams build up a minimum of one tackle player for those nasty one-turners. Since orcs dont have one your opponent might just use this guy against your blodger.
I agree with cramy. MV is pretty low so youll end up next to the sidelines pretty often. You have to support him when pushing opponents out anyway for a 2:1 block. But imagine him rolling a second double. Stand Firm and Frenzy in combination really rock! A one orc killing machine

I have an Orc Blitzer who got lucky with 3 double rolls, I gave him Frenzy (alreay had Tackle), and he now has Dodge and Mighty Blow as well.
3rd double I was also tempted to take Stand Firm (the obvious choice) but I ended up taking Sidestep.
I will not argue the pro's of Stand Firm, as these have been done to death, and it is arguably one of the better traits in the game, let me focus on the pro's of Sidestep on a Frenzy player:
With SF, people will still block you if you are on the sidelines, leaving you to dodge out (might work with SF) or block yourself out (sometimes hard to do).
I have found that with (Blodge) Sidestep, not only are you annoying in general, but people quickly find out that they don't want to touch your player on the sidelines _at all_, all it does is set them up for another crowd surf.
