Figured Strong Arm would help her more - with Accurate easily available as well - than a +MA.
I think throwing Long Bombs on a 3+ is over-rated. In my leagues these kind of passes don't ever happen. Too much risk for interceptions. Also it takes an over-specialzed Thrower.

As a Thrower, I believe you're much better off with a combination of Sure Hands, Pass, Accurate (standard) and a random mix of Dump-Off, Safe Throw, Block or Dodge. Just to make your Thrower a bit more versatile.

I'm even thinking of giving my Orc Thrower Hail Mary Pass (and some Goblins Diving Catch) as his only passing skill. So at 16spp's he can get Block and get into the fray. Instead of standing on the sideline like a lazy, cowardly Goblin!

On an Amazon Thrower, I'd certainly take +1MA over Strong Arm. MA7 rocks when getting to the ball.

I would have thought the MV was vital for Amazons ... speed being their main weakness.

This was not my quote. Please be more careful when attributing words to people.

Oops,

Sorry Wesleytj. I wanted to quote Borg. Got a little mixed up when quoting quote in quote.

My fault.

I wouldnt turn down the movement.
I have been playing Darkelves quite succesfully, but speed has allways been a problem for me.

Especially in the start, when you cannot afford all those positionals with Ma7,...especially then it's worth to get the lino +Ma...

I started winning with them as soon as i had 4 7M-guys. The block is good, but you will get it anyway.

Even now, after winning last 2 years' cup, my team has trouble finding the money for replacing players,...i still have no 6 positionals (or to be honest, i have, but 1 has -1M and nothing else, so i would liek to replace him,...)

wouldnt take the MA personally, but see why others would. Might turn down a +ST increase on a thrower with Acc and safe throw and give him SA. Otherwise, pep up always :)
