so whats the best way of using those lovely blitzers? Give one the ball and protect with the other 3 and linewomen

And on defence - 2 hunting tyhe ball, the other 2 deep(ish) as safeties?

Game 1: L 0 - 2 v Dwarfs (1 - 3 on casualties)

Game 2: L 2 - 1 v Dwarfs (0 - 3 on casualties)

Game 3: W 2 - 1 v Lizzies (3 - 1 on casualties)

Game 4: W 2 - 1 v Skaven (2 - 2 on casualties)

Game 5: W [Edit] 1 - 0 v Pro-Eves (3 - 1 on casualties)

I thought i was unlucky to draw the only 2 Dwarf teams in the 1st 2 rounds which were randomized. Otherwise, i had a fairly solid tourney after only 1 practice game with Zons

Glad the advice paid off. Beating Dwarves takes a lot of work and trying to beat them early on in an Amazon career is even harder. Better to work on general game play against other races first.

Looking at the other games they all look perfectly good. Conceding vs fast teams will always be a problem, so to be expected against those races. Scoring 2 against them also expected.

Glad to see the start on the career off to a positive one, and keep up the good work!!

Thanks fella - i made a muppet-style mistake v Dwarfs at the start of the 2nd half in Game 1. I moved the cover and took up new positions on the basis that i would pick up the rock with a re-roll

Straight away 3 or 4 D's have TZs on the ball. Instead of a (possible) draw i got a 0 -2 loss for my troubles.

I almost pulled off a 2 - 1 win in the 2nd game against Dwarfs but for a bit of bad luck ( i turned him over and was heading for a 2nd TD - got caught and he went practically from end to end by throwing the ball on the last turn of the game!!!! Outrageous

I was very lucky with my skill roles. 3 linewomen rolled doubles and i gave them Guard.

One Blitzer with Guard another with Tackle (this allowed me to win the 5th game v Pro Elves as i had to shift his Blodge/Side Step Blitzer from the Cage to secure a 1 - 0 win) a Catcher with Block and another Linew with Kick.

Going to join the NAF and sign up for the 1st tournie i can get to. See you soon(ish). D
