That's so boring. Try leap. Really, once your team develops you may have some re-rolls to spare and it will scare the shit out of most of your opponents. At least it has the potential to cause chaos.
And sneaky git is much more valuable than DP. My fouling beastman has benefited from it many a time. But then he always kills on an odd number.

Well, boring does work, but the threat of a leap player can be very effective. Same goes for side-step of course. The problem is that if your opponent dares you to leap into his cage you should be prepared to do so otherwise the guy's just an idle threat. But if you succeed once early in the game most coaches will not underestimate the leap guy

I totally agree. I had a leaping/vll beast and did he ever change the way my opponents played defense. Overall it made it much easier to single out players and foul. Boring wins but so does versitility.

Re: serious advise needed, ogre + chaos LRB v5
I just noticed this upon reading your post again
Sometimes re-rolling with a loner is worth the risk, but usually it isn't. If he's standing there going Moooo a lot is not nearly as bad as when he triple skulls and then you won't have the possibility to re-roll anymore. If you take pro on any player it should be the mino, but you'd need to roll double first. There's an undecided discussion here somewhere about pro or block on a big guy that got a double.
One word of advice: don't.Omalley69 wrote:My mino, belive it or not, needs teh rerolls to actually do actions istead of just raging the game away

yes im going to rely less on the mino and start a fresh team with 4 chaos warriors instead...plus an ekstra reroll
any input on the advance about being nurgle in a elf/skaven league?
they dont move as fast, cost more, but modifies ball actions...?
shadowing is actually a great idear, but that chould isolate some of my players were bad...
but isnt it pretty hard to do shadowing with chaos against elfs and skaven?
but block - tackle combo on the chaos warriros might not be that bad an idear, and some with claws, mighty blow

No, a beastman can shadow a gutter runner on a 3+, as likely to be successful as dodging with an AG3 player. And as for your players being dragged out of position: you don't have to shadow, you can opt not to use it.Omalley69 wrote:but isnt it pretty hard to do shadowing with chaos against elfs and skaven?

Well 4 mummies, plus cheap regenerating linemen to turn the LOS into a blood bath.

I've seen Khemri dismantle Ogre teams, Orcs, Chaos, Lizardmen etc etc. Never underestimate what 4 ST5 Mighty Blow players who don't have Loner can do to anything foolish enough to get in the way.
Add to this that a 50K skeleton (one with DP) is the best fouler in the game and you can have about half a dozen of these on your team and you've got nothing less than a meat grinder. Which is forced to work as a meatgrinder because AG2 means you need to gain superiority in numbers on pitch asap. (and once you have that superiority in numbers further pitch removals are inevitable, they just snowball...)
Chaos can't stand up to Khemri in a straight fight, they have to use their Agility to try and pick their battles. If you do happen to come up against one with your Chaos team play a blitzing/running game and try to avoid players getting isolated.
