Hmmm, I like Voyagers' ideology of being different, and actually am building a Catch+Pass Block Blitzer on my Dark Elf team. That being said, I'd go with Side step for the witch elf, and either MA or MB for the Blitzer. There's a good number of AV7 players in your league it seems, and they go down easy with MB. At least for my playstyle, MA could be useful, but not essential, and sometimes being faster than rest of the team isn't too great.

I think I'd go with Tackle on the Witch Elf, although the previous suggestion of side step is also good.
The blitzer is a much tougher option. You essentially either want to go with a Strength Skill, +AV or the +MA. The Strength skills to consider, IMO, are Juggernaut, Guard, Mighty Blow, and Grab. TBH I think Juggernaut is more suited to Witch Elves, and Guard more to line elves, but your play style might be different than mine. Grab can be nice for helping break a cage. Mighty Blow is always nice on a guy that does a lot of hitting.
In the end, though, I'd probably go with being AV9. But you do have a ton of interesting options.

Yes, tons of interesting options. But I'd pick +MA on the blitzer and Side Step on the Witch. MA8 Blitzers are quite good. If I don't roll doubles, I always try to give Block and Side Step as the first two skills for the Witch. Makes her survive longer.
For future development, then you consider the more specialized skills for the witch.
My general strategy with dark elves is to make them as mobile as possible first. Then make them as sturdy as possible (protection skills), then specialize. But this depends on the teams that you are playing against. If there is lots of dodge in your league for example, you may want to take tackle early-on on the blitzers at least.

Thx a lot for the answers i have decided upon sidestep for the witch and leaning towards MA for the blitzer. I think LRB5 is quite bloody so the armor could be nice... but MA 8 would also be really useful as over half the teams are slower than mine.
Im going for tackle with another blitzer when he earns enough spps, think the safety sidestep provides is more important for the witch.
