Apoth (use on BH only) in tournaments: bombshell or dud?

A) Good idea as an alternative to a reserve on many teams!

B) Good for a few teams, but I'd take an extra man first.

As I said in the old thread, I take an apoth in a 1.1 mill Dwarf side over a twelfth man. And I can see it being useful for Skaven, Elves who have expensive & useful stars (often who will have been given extra skills) to keep them on the pitch for longer.

I think there's a case for an apo on certain situations too.

Best example is Amazons at Tr110.

13 players is good protection. 14 is probably not necessary, so I'd rather use the 50k to buy an apo who could save one of my blodging guarders. She won't be back until the end of the drive, so it's best used in the first half if the opportunity arises.

Apo's in LRB5 tourneys: not what they used to be, but they have their uses.
