Keep him for now, elves really should try to get 14 players in the lineup b4 they voluntarily drop players. One niggle on a dirty player isnt so bad anyways.

Keep him. My lineman picked up a niggle in his 1st match. 11 games later he lead the league in Cas (he had DP) and had never missed a game. OK, I was lucky with the nig.roll, but it goes to show, statistics aren't everything.

I have a similar question although my situation is slightly different. Here's my roster:

http://www.standmed.com/~justin/obbl/team_view.php?team_id=20

I have 11 players on my roster. Two line elves are MNG. One of these MNG line elves have 3 NIs on him. That gives him a 57.9% chance to show up for any particular game. He has 9 SPPs and block on him, so he eats up 9 TR. If I kick him off of my team right now, my TR will drop such that I'll receive an extra handicap in my very next game (which he's going to MNG for anyways) and gain a +1 on my winnings.

I also have 100k in the bank, but I'm not sure if I should buy a line elf right now, or wait a game and get my 2nd Wardancer after my next game.

Opinions?

Anyone with 3 NIs is worthless IMO...get rid of 'im. Missing too many games for my liking.

If your next game is against a non-hitty team, don't buy another player right now. Just freeboot a player or tough it out shorthanded. Then you can afford a better player.

Show him the door right now, he's not helping your cause now or later. Buy a player right away, you'll be glad you did. In your case, i'd go with a catcher, since you have none but you already have a great thrower to feed him. Never freeboot except in playoffs, you'd only be making your situation worse.

I am not fond of sacking players for nothing. Without the guy blocking a slot in your team roster anyway and 9 SPP, I would rather get a second skill roll and see whether to come up with a double. And with barely enough players and two bashing teams coming up I would wait and see whether not running short of players thereafter anyway.

But three nigglings, wow! I didn't see that so far. Quite an achievement.

But indeed, in that case an assistant coach would be the obvious choice.

If you asked me before I joined ECBBL I would say keep him, but in the beginning I got a Ni on a Chaos Dwarf and kept him, now less than 10 games later, he has recieved no less than 3 MVPs!!!!

To be fair I have to mention that he hasn't missed one game due to the Niggle roll

With 3 niggles, I can't believe you are even cosidering keeping him, he less than useless.

I would buy a lineman now though, you need the players.

Can't believe how unlucky you are, 3 niggles on one player, it could be worse and have 3 players with niggle.

I would rather have 3 players with one niggle each.

Im currently playing in a "pub league" run by spyke. If u know the rules of that u know im running a team with a minimum of 9 guys with niggle. Worst realistic case most times with 3 niggles will be 2 out, 3 would be a major fluke.

I would much, much rather have the 3 niggles on the same player. That way you can solve three problems at once with just one swift move.

Here is my situation:

I have 1 Ghoul with 2 Nigs(Ageing for both). His skills are Block, Dodge, Pass, Sure Hands. What is the statistical probably that he will play in each game? He is only playing 25% of the time in our current tourney. I hate to cut him loose because he is a very good player. Any ideas?

Well with 2 niggles you need to roll 2+ on 2 dice. Therefore the odds are

5/6 * 5/6 = 25/36 or 72% chance of playing each game.
