Last Tuesday I met Smakkdown United, a Chaos Dwarf team...
Having 160K to induce for left me 10K short in hiring a MB Berserker, which would've otherwise been fun!
Instead, I opted for a Lineman and Helmut Wolff, in order to bump my team to 13 players - I expected a lot of them to be knocked off the pitch...
The game started with him getting +2 Fame, and me kicking the ball (as I have done in all three games so far). The next 5 turns was all about me trying to stop him from scoring, or at least stop him from stalling! I had some bad luck in getting my Snow Troll BH'ed from a stinkin' Going-For-It, which disgusted me no end. I did not dare using the APO on it, not wanting to have my team completely crippled for the next match... When he finally scored, I had to field Helmut, who didn't do much on the pitch, except from the psychological factor in having a chainsaw with him! I couldn't make the TD (bloody close!), and at half time the score was 0-1.
Second half, I receive... I had weighted my attack to the left flank, and was rewarded by him scattering the ball neatly in front of the halfway line. On the right flank... To add insult to injury, he rolled perfect defence, making my task even harder!! In five turns, however, I succeeded in scoring, much to my surprise. It had been a long walk up the field... He spent the next three turns getting into scoring position, and it came down to two GFIs and a Hand Off. Luckily for me, the Hoboblin carrying the ball didn't make it, falling on the very first GFI. Wheew...
I only made 40K in winnings, not enough for me to purchase a Berserker or Runner, so instead I bought the Journeyman who had received the MVP
Three games, only unskilled Lineman have gotten those 5 MVP

My Runner shutting down the Bull Centaur - Dauntless FTW.
Having NO trouble with Chaos Dwarf AV... A nice change from last match.
Learning how to utilising Frenzy.
Low points:
BH'ing the Snow Troll on a GFI. In turn three...
Missing a TD by botching a dodge. Cruddy placing of players was to blame
Midway through the game, being told that my next opponent is The Black Sheeps

I would go for the monster n lightning, put him on the wrong end of a asskicking and see how he takes it. Many CD players gets used to be the one dealing the hurt, and have a hard time when the tables are turned. With to frenzy claw monsters plus a well placed Zzap you can dominate the blocking game, and see him panik
