Sounds like a massive waste of a doubles roll to me. And it would be low on my list of normal skill rolls as well.

Dodge is probably the 'safe' choice. Though a boring one.

I could see this guy getting Big Hand. Just not before Dodge or Leap. He'd be a good free safety, a real reassurance whenever the ball comes loose.

Dodge, the safest bet and one of the most useful skill on a 4 AG player, ask the elves :)

i think it depends on how / why you play - i recently got an orc blitzer with strip ball and leap and he was great fun. he didn't win me any games, but he was a psychological threat and annoyed the hell out of my opponent - his value essentially went beyond his ability and to me that is a significant advantage. as i said he was also great fun even my opponent was rooting for him to make the leap, just because its a laugh! your's won't have block, but he will have horns! not quite as secure, but well on his way!

on the other hand dodge is going to help defensively and offensively - a 2up with reroll to get out of that annoying corner-broken cage? 2up to pick up the ball, cage, then even if someone does hit you, you're safer than you were before... its not as amazing, but its more secure.

i know which way i would go in a league and which way in a less competitive enviroment. on the otherhand i am terrible at this game.

cws / jammer

AG4 and now a double on a chaos team... pass or accurate should be a nobrainer, then strong arm. it will give you something few people can play against, a chaos team with a serius passing threat.
Scoring in 2 turns will be easy now!

How many rerolls has this team got?
If you are well endowed with rerolls leap would be great (then obv vll after that for a superb go anywhere blitzer) or if you want to conserve rerolls, pass is the best choice (well, I suppose that or accurate - +1 is better than a player reroll at avoiding fumbles but still requires a team reroll if it goes wrong)

Dodge is good, of course, but I think part of the fun of a Chaos team is taking that blank slate of a roster and giving it some colour.

A strength team with a good passing game (once extra arms is on the pitch too, try and get one of them as soon as) anyone? Yes please! 8)

Go with Leap.
Most people try to break a Chaos cage.
If you can leap out of the cage and just go score, it gives people fits.
I got the same thing on my team and he quickly became amazing.

Thanks everyone for your advices.
I made up my mind and took Pass :
Dodge is just too boring, and adding another "Turnover-Machine" (ie : with Leap) to the team right now will just drive me crazy.
(Although I would definitely have choosen Leap if the guy, or the whole team, was a bit more experienced)

PS : my next match has been delayed, so if you guys have other ideas, feel free to post it anyway.

Awww, where's the belief in Chaos? ;)

My leaper got it as a double as his first skill and was rewarded later in his career with an AG+ and a double for Dodge.

Sometimes you have to let the dice decide and no better team than Chaos.

Solid pick imo. Now you have the option and can stretch the field if you need too. Dodge wouldn't have added another dimension to your game like an AG4+pass player does even if you don't use it that often an opposing D has to respect the possibility in it's setup.

Good call. What are you getting the other guy?

I still think the other one will ignore the double and take guard : I really need it (being outbashed when playing Chaos is very frustrating).

Besides, Leader can wait (4 TRR), Side Step or Jump up could have been fun, but are not really needed, and dodge is still boring.

The only double I'm still considering is Sure Feet (followed by Block+Extra Arms) : it's a good thing to have a good thrower, but it won't be valuable if I don't have fast receivers.

What do you think about it ?

Sure Feet? I wouldn't. Guard will help you get open receivers. I'll take an uncovered MA6 guy over a tied-down guy with Sure Feet anyday.

Sometimes you do just have to bite the bullet and ignore the double to better match your leagues metagame (you mentioned getting out bashed).

I think for me I would go for sidestep, I love "sticky" players with tackle or frenzy combo's up nicely not to mention the all round benifit sidestep gives in positioning which is a big part of the blocking battle down in the trenchs.
