I've narrowed it down to the stat increases, which isn't very narrow at all!
The MA is a preference, however the AV may be more useful as I'm in a very bashy league.

For now I shall be a proud and mentally impaired player who apparently shares the same intelligence level of that of a chimp. Now if you would excuse me I have pressing matters to attend to, I have found a stick and I am going to poke a banana.

Having played Necros for years, you'll sweat cannonballs every time Werewolf armor breaks!
Had I KNOWN that one werewolf would roll 6+4 twice in the first four skills, I would've(?) added MA twice and sprint.... BUT, you can see that I question that, even now....
On a piece this expensive, and without an apothecary, survival is key!!!!

Lots of people are talking about adding armour instead of block. However, by having block, your werewolf won't go down nearly as often as he normally would. This reduces the amount of times your opponent will roll for armour against you. The MA looks good but when you play against a skilled coach, they will have players waiting in the back field who will be able to blitz you, even if you have +1 movement. Block will make him a better all round player. 8 movement is pretty solid anyway. I have a werewolf with block, dodge, fend, sure hands and now +1 AG, Block helped keep him alive long enough to get the rest of the skills. If you use your werewolves as blitzers then block will give them more chances to get xp to level up in the long run. You will never regret getting block, lol

Agreed, Liv, to an extent....
Werewolves are going to pull a proportionate amount of attention to themselves... this can be mitigated by armor, blodge and speed.... As you(?) stated, a good coach will box the wolf in.... With a NORMAL progression (as is happening with my Gravely Repulsed werewolves) Block & Dodge are the first two skills.... It MIGHT happen, but another 10 is unlikely....
Here are the builds on my team Werewolves:
Wolfman Jack---+AV, Block, Mighty Blow, Dodge, Sidestep (27 game survivor)
The Midnight Howler---+AV, Block, Dodge, Mighty Blow, Sidestep he died from rolls of "defender down", 6+5, 6+6, and 6+8 (failed regen).... NOTHING will stop that....
Scary Hairy---Mighty Blow, Catch, Block (14 game survivor)
Mr. Fangtastic---Catch (died early)
Sarin---Block, Dodge (12 game survivor)
Cyanide---Mighty Blow, +AV, Juggernaut, +AV (12 game survivor and one of the most powerful WWs I've ever seen!)
Long Chainey---Block, Dodge (9 game survivor)
Angus the Younger---Block, Dodge (9 game survivor)
I don't know if there's any pattern, reason/rhyme... but no regrets for taking armor upgrades....
Check out the Necro-tacticum for possible tips and reasoning....
