Bad kick is a roll of 6. You were lucky you didn't get any bad kick off results due to your low FF.
You should always, always start with 9. 3 FF is really asking for trouble.

You were done in by the Blitz. Sometimes there's nothing you can do except grin and bear it. It sounds like you got through the game with some SPP's, didn't get any lasting injury, and made a fair amount of money. This is all good stuff.

Unless your in a fixed no. of games in your tournament, a loss is a bad thing. The fact that you've come out of the game ahead of what you went in with is a positive to look to.
Now, if you'd had 3 deaths in 2 games as our human coach did, well.......

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

I may have phrased it badly, but this was about as good a loss as you can have in this situation. Even experienced teams have a hard time winning when they get blitzed three times in a game.
A loss usually is a bad thing, but it does depend on the regular season structure and the playoff rules. Our league has an 8 game regular season, and everyone makes the playoffs, so a loss in the regular season isn't all that significant - it just makes for a tougher matchup in the postseason.
