Ah knew there was a flaw. Cannot pass goblin without ball then. Damn and I thought I was being so clever.

Pro is only any use on a well developed killer IMO. I have a CD with MB, Claw, Piling On, Guard and finally Pro. An extra chance to get that killer knockdown. But even then, I wish I'd given him Frenzy. :)

That depends on the situation and how many goblins you have. :) One option is to do a hand off to a goblin right behind the Troll, have the Troll (hopefully) throw the goblin, the goblin (hopefully) keep his feet, and then run like a maniac towards the end zone.

Alternately, if you can't pull that off immediately (usually due to ball placement from the kick off and lack of speed to do the hand off), if you have two goblins set up by the Troll, one can be lobbed into the opposing field to act as either a receiver, or at least as a potential receiver which will force the opponent to react to him. Then you have the option to either still do the hand-off and throw to the second goblin, or to actually try the pass to the goblin in the backfield (who should by that time be in position to either run to the end zone and catch or catch and run to the end zone).

And don't forget that thrown goblins make for fun flying bombs into opposing cages. :)

Don't forgot Trolls can MOVE prior to throwing the goblin, so if you've two goblins you can put them 9 squares apart and have the troll move to the one you hand off the ball to.

Also that means the goblin can go on the LOS and the troll move the square in front of them to give you an extra square of range on the throw.

I agree that on a Trad Orc team your gobbo’s should be Catch – Sure Feet – Sprint in some form. To help with getting over the line. I like 2 to give yourself a couple of options.

Lineman are pretty simple – Kick one gets kick the rest Block.
Blitzers – Tackle, Guard, or Frenzy + Stand Firm, MB + PO All great combos.
If you get a double early on a Blitzer give him dodge – SS later on might be a better choice (Defo so – if you plan to give him Frenzy)
BOBs – Block – Guard 1st 2 skills.
Trolls – Guard – Whatever…
Throwers – 1st – KOR, Accurate – Strong arm on doubles.
2nd if you get him is more of a Runner – Block, Fend, Nerves of Steel if you’re feeling fancy :D (Dodge on Double)

Take all Stat Increase accept +1AG on BOBs and Trolls.

I would give you Pro Guy - MB and then PO – save him until near the end – if you’ve got a spare blitz then go with him. If Push back comes up then use the pro!
