I think it's important to actually PLAY with the vamps. Manage your bloodlust with a deep bench, but remember to enjoy the fact that you can have st4 ag4 hypnogazing monsters running around. Always use them with a purpose, but use them.
I've found them to be really good at accomplishing impossible plays with hypno gaze.
I'm not sure guard is a great skill on a thrall. It makes them a punching bag....maybe it's better as a 2nd skill?

Love Hypnotic Gaze! You don't have to declare it and it wraps up your blitz targets with a bow. Not to mention eliminating TZ's for the pass or catch.grampyseer wrote: I've found them to be really good at accomplishing impossible plays with hypno gaze.

I would have to agree on the Guard. However, I don't bunch up my players much. I'd go with Tackle (to stop the Dodgers) and Block to keep them alive when the other team attempts to pound them into the ground. This combo makes for an effective defensive line.
Kick is important so I give it to the Thralls and keep it from wasting the skill ups of the Vampires. Thralls get Kick nice and easy. Sure Hands isn't a bad choice on a Thrall either. My ratio for four Thralls is, 3 with Block and Tackle, 1 with Kick and Sure Hands. The third skill up (if he gets that far) is Dirty Player or Thick Skull.
My doubles on Thralls are always Dodge and Sneaky Git in that order.
