I like the DElf cage-breaker, but the only thing the pact is hurting for is dodge, and this is the only model that has basic access to it.

Wondering if I could leave a big guy to break cages, and keep the Delf as either a runner or catcher (Blodge/Sure Hands). The only reason I'd be tempted to go that route is that early, block will help him get some spps and help keep him alive that much longer.

How do you skill him up fast heading for wrestle/jump/strip/etc? I'm assuming he's just filling a catcher/scorer role?

Did you pick up the Delf, and then maybe the goblin for the TTM possibility if things went badly?
If I remember well only the DEfl was missing.

It was 3 BG, 1 Gobo, 1 Skaven, 6 marauder.

I was lucky not to get CAS early, got a Marauder with extra-arms at the end of the first game and got an APO.

I was also a Mino hater, but I think that on a Pact team he benefits from the presence of the other BG.

This team has had luck for the skills with a +AG marauder, block on mino and Ogre and a +ST troll.

It is a fun team to play if you do not get frustrated by stupids BG ;)

I went for all of the fun stuff in my starting team. You have to accept that sometimes all three big guys will stand around looking at the oppposition cheerleaders while the Dark Elf refuses to give up his 'precious' to his pet Rat. Its part of the charm of the team and I wouldn't have it any other way.

And when it works its damn effective. I'm undefeated so far in our league (okay we're only two games in but still)

Glad you took all 3 BGs. Never failed to have fun when the opponent stared down the barrel of a front line like that. I only had linemen to start with, buying the DE later when cash was available, and totally ignoring the gobbo and rat.

I developed one lineman as a pickup/pass player, and had 2 which I gave guard and then sidestep (in that order). The combination of General and Strength is a massive amount of fun and more than pays off once you get to about TR130 or so. Sidestepping Guarders are incredibly nasty to play against.
