The defence is not covering the entire width of the pitch, so you should be able to get through somewhere by blocking and blitzing, and then walking through. Also as to scorers in position... any catcher 2 squares into the opposing half is in scoring range, more squares means less rolls. You could for example build a loose cage just inside the opponents half, with the forward linos within 9 squares of the endzone, and some catchers in it (preferably one with the ball), this should make it fairly straightforward to score with someone. Add a catcher or two on the other side of the pitch in scoring range, and you could, if forced to, easily walk around the back of the opposing line, hand off, or quick pass to those catchers and score with them...Smurf wrote:How do you get the ball carrier across the defence?
Some times you need multiple scorers to get the position.
The games we play has a lot of ball movement.
I'm going to have to visit another club and see how they play.
It's almost criminally easy to score with WE's, you shoud focus on getting the ball loose on the opponents drive (which is why Doubleskulls would opt for the sweeper role for the S4 Thrower).
