That sums up why I relegate it to the third skill at best and more than likely 5th skill if you get that high.Macavite wrote:I look at Pro for those (relatively rare) rolls that have a neutral result, not just 'success' or 'turnover!'. Vamps have two of those. I'd rather not eat a thrall if I can avoid it, but if I eat a thrall it's not the end of the world. Also, they throw a lot of 2d blocks, and those are the epitome of a roll that is rarely 'bad', but often 'meh'.
Rerolling double pushes is handy but it means you have skipped another skill which overall I find more useful when I could use a reroll if I wanted. As I said I start with 5 rerolls from the outset.
It is nice to have the option to have two shots at hypnotic gaze though, but I see that as a luxury rather than a priority, much like sure feet etc. Especially as it is never going to be a turnover.
block, dodge, guard, sidestep are all preferable and then a mix of tackle, frenzy, juggernaut, strip ball
the first four are way more useful than pro and the rerolls cover blood lust, blocks, gaze etc
