What would you think about trading the APO for a lineman?
Actually that and option B seems pretty good to me, especially if the league is longer.
Obviously you'd want an APO soon, but an APO is still only occasionally effective and TRRs and a bench can keep you from having the cas in the first place. Moreover in most leagues many will play, few will get a trophy, so there's something to be said for gambling a bit on game one for the best chance of winning setting yourself up for the longer run.
Perhapse I have been overvaluing the zerkers, especially if a pair of Ulfs are already on the table. Bodge runners can actually be a decent match up for BOBs and the like, and are easier to skill up.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.
