You want an injured elf to get an MVP/skill?
I guess that means fire them and always have enough money in the pocket to hire a journeyman in case he gains SPP ?

Yes. Exactly.

You will eventually get ahead on the money curve.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

You could easily fire the three of them, then sit on your cash until you have 160k before buying a TRR. Then, should any of your Journeymen skill, you can hire them.
Scusi, what´s a TRR ? Team Re Roll ? Does this mean I should not buy a third reroll now with my 110.000 gold, but rather wait until I have 160k ? Then buy the reroll and save more money, only hire journeyman who skills up ?
You read me right. Though you might hire any Journeyman with SPP, or with an MVP, or whatever. It's easy to pile up to 4 SPP on one player (Comp+TD), so even a random Cas going to a Journeyman should be enough to make you pull the trigger. Don't be terrified of playing on one Wardancer for a bit: a line-elf can do anything you'd expect of any BB player, so if you can't win without WDs, you know you need to sharpen your game.

You're Wood Elves. You only have two mandatory positionals. Everything else, Catchers, Throwers, Treemen, that's all optional. You can run on 2 WDs and 9 line-elves indefinitely. Skills only matter if you've got 'em. Linos are fragile, so get them Blodge or Wrodge, then SS or Fend, then whatever you need. Guard is the only double on a line-elf: WDs can take MB and hope to get POMB. 240k+630k+150k+50k = 1070k plus FF plus improvements. Play your Dancers close to the vest, fire all permanent injuries, spend nothing on your toolbox, make sure the same 3-5 players hog most of your SPP, don't be afraid to throw Journeymen on the line, and play constant underdog. Use the Wizard whenever you can, on defense, to ruin the other guy's drive. Play aggressively, and play to hustle the opponent. Don't let him camp.

You might consider not hiring that TRR after all, and instead getting an AC and/or a CL. If you expect to make the game happen on your schedule (that is, lots of hustle, many kickoffs), one of each can be a very good bargain. If you expect to get whacked, you'd be better off with the RR than the 30k FF and the chance at a RR, but not much is invested or lost, and you can give up on it much more cheaply when you have built some cash reserves, and can hire the RR and fire the staffers. Still, it's an incentive to succeed, which is a good motivational force, and it's something you can afford right now.

How often are you going to use the TRR for a loner? Their job is the same as a player with an SI - take the hits instead of your valuable players, and they do that better if they have less chance of leaving the pitch.
