I don't like minos on the CD team, but would go for block or claw in your case.

Yup and a ST6 mino is much, much cooler than a block one. You still have a 5 in 36 chance of rolling doubles next skill (ok 6 in 36 but you should certainly make him ST7 if you get the chance).Dr. Von Richten wrote:Rolling 6+6 on a skill roll is a sign from Nuffle. You do not want to displease Nuffle, now do you?

If you are focused on TV efficiency in Blackbox then drop him altogether as he’s a massive amount of bloat.

Id take the strength up.
Mino has to be the blitz player every turn. 3 dice on the blitz and with break tackle later as someone has already said, super cage breaker

I'd take the ST as well. 3d Blocks are tasty and with Break Tackle blitzing into cages with Horns... wow. It does stymie its development a little, but I'd take it.

I'd take Block, actually. Strength difference is marginal unless this guy gets Break Tackle or Tentacles, and honestly those are probably going to be pretty low on the queue.
Block actually gives him more defensive protection. I have little qualms about throwing a 2-Die-Their-Choice block against a Block-less big guy with one of my Block players, assuming a knock down or push is particularly useful to my strategy.
As for a 3-Die-Blocks on the blitz, you may not want to blitz with this guy all the time, in which case the +Str is pretty useless unless he's hitting another big guy. And if you really do want a 3-Die blitz, it's not going to be hard to get an assist in position, especially since you should have tons of Guard on your CDs anyways. Besides, a 2-Die with Block is safer than a 3-Die-w/out-Block, if you're worried about turnovers (1/36 vs 1/27 chance of failure).
Going from 3-->4 strength is huge. Going from 5-->6 Strength, meh.

Block gets my vote, I use a fanatic on my goblins (S7) and more often than not he gets blocked for 2 dice my choice because he has no block, especially if my opponent has block. I know its different as we're talking about a mino however choosing to blitz with a Wild animal when you have better positionals (BC's) to do the job is asking for lots of 1s, also block keeps him upright and with an Av of 8 a prone mino is a foul magnet.
i do however like a Mino on a CD team.

Block for me.
And if you keep rolling doubles, there is no shortage of skills to choose from (claw, tentacles, etc.)

Block for sure. You'll have enought Guard or free hobgoblins to give him the assist for a 3-Die-Block on a Blitz..np!

+1 S. Faced one last night and he was a monster. Had jugs as well so block was unnecessary (I was elves so avoided standing next to him!).
