Mighty Blow.
Mighty Blow on an elven Blitzer is wonderful. On defense he can pound those AV 7 recievers that are faster than you, and on offense he has a better chance of breaking that hole for the rest of your team to rush through.
I would steer away from Piling on. It is effective, even with STR 3, but it is only truly effective if you can develop more than one player with it. Since you require Doubles on an elven team for PO, you will most likely only own one at a time. Sending an AG 5 guy to the turf, voluntarily, is also inviting fouls.

Need some thoughts about skill for a Dark Elf blitzer.

Dump Off..
I'm serious.
Nice combo with +1 AG and Jump Up. Use him to move the ball around, keep a player nearby and when he the Blitzer gets blocked he can dump the ball off, the +1 ag cancels out the tackle zone and the jump up means if he does get put face down he can be up next turn to help the new ball carrier.

I haven't heard anyone talk about catch, if he's your main Goto man (sorry Elf), even with AG 5, Catch would be useful (You listening to a man who can roll 6 1's in a row on a regular basis, not that catch would help then.... sigh), a couple of TZ's on him makes it as useful as NOS, cos you can use it on defence for those INT's as well!
Gk.
