Block is sort of a no-brainer and I fully understand the need for something else. Of course your witch elf is AV7, so are wardancers does that stop them from leaping? It pays not to be afraid to go flat on your face, witch elves are too good not to take chances with. Diving tackle or wrestle I wouldn't take but with jump up you don't really need to worry about block either. And if your opponent fouls her, fine, he may get sent off.
Witch elves are good at getting in the right place, side-step and leap may make them even better at that, same goes for sprint or pass block. Once in the right place you may want to assist (guard) or pick up the ball (sure hands) or block (block), but that will get you away from the right place.
