in the GOBBLN league I have found that Kick to be invaluable, allowing me to kick shallow and capitalize on Blitz! results or early fumbles.
Perhaps a difference in our divisions. Since mine was on the bashier side- Dw, Orc, Nurgle, Pro Elf, Flings (but a team perennially among the league best in causing injuries), short kicks are a little less valuable. I did have a kick Z, but he died...permanently this time.

Interestingly, in the playoffs is was completely reversed though: Vamps, Liz, Norse, Vamps. :)

:) Since you chimed in, Punkistador, I make you the same question:
MKL wrote:(...) you got interesting ideas about the Zombies... but what about the F-Golems?
I'm asking 'cause the F-Golem is a pet topic of mine.
Their role in defense is fairly clear (uber-roadblock, to put it bluntly), but what about the offensive drive?
wait a second

I get my Flesh Golems quickly to Block-Guard-MB. The S4 Stand Firm Guard is invaluable in holding the center together with the few Zeds.

On the first receiving turn I have them on the line to allow me to get those 2x Blocks from the Wolves. Having Guard and S4 they can push back pretty much any LOS, and set up those Frenzy blocks.

Of course, i also have a S4 MB Were, so that changes the tactics a lot.

What environment do you play in that you can get your FGs quickly to 31 SPPs? How quickly is quickly (i.e. how many games)? And do you give them M-Blow first? Or are you somehow scoring TDs with them?

In an environment where after 3 seasons (30+ games, they still have not made it to 31 spps) :)

In my TT league I have found out that it is very dependent on the type of opposition though: if you have more squishy opponents, you can get quickly to a blood fest, and you can engineer CAS for your Golems. If you have bashy opponents, you are lucky to pick your Golems off the floor every turn, while your Weres score.

Wrestle on a zombie is a beautiful thing when combined with Side Step if you can manage it on a rare skill.
