Well either...

Xenox the black (Chaos Warrior)
5-5-3-10 (magic helmet)
Block, Claw, Razor Sharp Claws, Frenzy, +1 ST, Tackle

He caused much fear for my chaos team (Kill Fury) back in the old days ;)

Or........

can'tquiterememberhisnameatthemoment
7-3-4-9 (Orc Blitzer)
Block, Dodge

And no, I can't remember his name (racks brains). Though he was a great personality and had his own sponsorship deal with Reeborc :)

my favourite player has got to be a beastman, filthmane. he started out as a fouler (only 1 dirty player for each team, with borak being too important to be sent off) with rsc and pro (3rd edition), but startet to become the real teamleader when he got more skills. his final stats were:

6 3 4 9* horns, razor sharp claws, pro, block, ag+1, claw, dodge, *magic helmet

he could blitz anytime, anywhere and take his man down (and he took them out most of the time  ) during 2 seasons and about 40 games he managed:

comp: 5, td: 7, cas: 57 :o , mvp: 5

he was killed once, but ressed by a very sweaty apoth.
i loved him.

Well Zippy Hands has finally made Legendary Status and acquired his
SEVENTH skill in league play...

...mind you they've been so focused trying to kill the ST 4 AG 4 Goblin with Sure hands and Side-step the last few games is it no wonder he's
stayed alive so long?

Now my goal is to have him break the 200 mark by the end of the season,
I could go higher, but all he does now is bloat my TR! :smoking:

Well nice to hae a "go-to" guy when Da Maggot Scum have gotta get a TD.

My favourite player was Luthor "Volley Gun" Wolfenbaum, of the Wolf Flayers team (A middenheimer team that uses the Norse's roster). He played in a league that we had to stop because of a player that didn't play (and when he played, he played one half per day, taking two days - or even three - to finish a game against him).

He was like this: MA 6 ST 3 AG 3 MA 7; block, pass, Hail Mary Pass, Sure Hands. (I had a diving catch receiver, who sadly died going for it).
He made 15 COMP, 1 Cas. Was was so good about him? In a league with twelve teams, with two elven teams, and with one game less played than the rest of the teams, was the Best Passer in the League, averaging 1.875 COMP per game, and making 4 COMP in one game. Not too bad for a humie...

Tamper Magnitude? Pah.
The greatest player in our league was the LATE
Barney Magrew of Bigman's Bigmen
Halfling
5 2 5 6

Block, Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff, Sure Feet

Sadly, after been chased by every team for three years, bought the farm against a slick dwarf unit, Metallic Justice.

heheh

Haa the good old days of the 3rd edition where you were living and dying with fouling...
I remember the cap'tain of my very first team (undead team)
Tad Oss : Squeleton
5 3 2 7
Dirty player, pro (good old combo that doesn't work anymore) leader, block, dodge, guard, tackle...
yes he had the 7 skills (and more than 50 cas!!! ok we were counting fouling) and he finished his carrier with a chainsaw (in our house rules you can buy the secret weapon when you want not only when you buy the guy)

He managed to do some specials performances : a day he killed 3 dwarf, SI 3 others (N, -1AV, -1ST!!!) and 2 BH!! thats a cas a turn!
at the end of the game the dwarf team was destroyed (they were just coming from a wining championships game, and wanted to show they new crowd to a little undead team...they never been saw again by anuone...the rumor says they had a plane crash near a cimetery...)

But he's dead now isn't he? Stamped to death by Mark Shufflebottom during your fourth defeat of that tournament

Was that just after the 0-9 loss? :puke:

yes he is tamper, and i would quite happily state he deserved it.

Best thing was he got iron man against your chaos team, so you couldn't get to do him.

:D
I really hope the same happens to babybel, and all that.

The most entertaining player I've ever used is from a Goblin team that I used for about a year after rediscovering Blood Bowl... the team's in semi-retirement since I moved away from the league, but anyways:

One-Eye
Bat-Winged Loony Spellcaster with personal apothecary
6/2/3/7
Dodge, Right Stuff, Stunty, Pro, Flyer, Stiff Arm, Level 2 spellcaster (Conjure 3+/Evil Twin 3+/Knowledge Drain 4+/Firebreathing 2+/Warp Bolt 3+)

7 TD, 6 Cas, 1 Int, 2 MVP, 14 successfully cast spells

Oh, this guy was sooooo much fun. 8)

Arwen- Wood Elf Catcher- 8 2 6 8 catch dodge passblock leap pro

Yes she was only MA8...I actually thought that was cool, it gave her more personality. I mean how many people keep MA8 Wood Elf Catchers? She also has the distinct honor of never being hit with a wizard's lightning bolt attack despite several tries. She got +AG on her first 2 skill rolls, which led me to build the rest of her skills around that.

You would think she would be an INT machine but she only had 3. People simply refused to throw the ball if there was any chance she could get to it, which of course suited my Wardancers just fine. :)

She was the primary reason I won the Blood Bowl tourney in the league we were in, which at the time had over 150 teams and about 80 coaches, although there were only 24 in the tourney. The teams roster is online as well, and may be found here if you're interested:

Another player on the Deth Killurz (fear their 2-9 record!) who was not as influential as the crazy airborne shaman One-Eye, but no less fun was:

Squee, the goblin who wouldn't quit

5/1/3/7, Dodge, Stunty, Right Stuff, Dauntless, Dirty Player

He somehow managed to score 2 TD, 1 MVP, and 4 Cas, while suffering -1 MV, -1 ST, and 2 niggling SI's. :smoking:

(Note: this was using house rules that treated Dauntless as a skill)
