Pretty sure that Block is better on defense too. I don't mind taking two dice against if I have Block and they don't have Block, Dodge or Wrestle.

But the real worry is Stab and Chainsaw.
And that's why you avoid the LOS.

Yup, I had to on that match with the gobbo's as he brought on a chainsaw weilding looney who blitzed an ulfenwerener only to fail the armour roll and have that chainsaw shoved somewhere very unpleasant in my next turn (killing said looney!)

Fluffy's going to go with Block, just because it's more useful than another ST upgrade, better on offence, better on defence... barring doubles or any AG/MA/AR increases he'll take juggernaught next, although that's not for another 25 SPP's or so....

Well, I certainly can't fault you for taking block, but it's NOT better on defense. And juggernaut after block isn't as effective as juggernaut after ST7.

Looking at it from my perspective nobody but a stunty is going to get anything but a 2d my favour block in any case, at ST 6 or 7 (there will almost certainly be more than one assist against Fluffy) 3D without block and 2 or 3 Double skulls (or worse) comes up and Fluffy goes down and risks being injured (or a fouling target)
With Block that risk is greatly abated.

That I agree with and understand (although it would be easy to get 3D blocks against ST3 guys). I definately see your point. I was just saying block doesn't make him better statistically on defense.

Unless they have Dauntless in which case they would be successfull 33% (5+) against S7 as opposed to 50% (4+) using a S3 (Witch-elf) player

I was thinking. I guess it comes down to one of two things. Do you want to lessen the chances of putting yourself down or do you want to lessen the chances of your opponent putting you down. ST7 keeps your opponents from trying to take you down but you have a greater risk of putting yourself down. ST6 block makes it easier for your opponent to put you down but it lessens the chance of putting yourself down. I really don't think there's a wrong answer.

lol. I guess in this case, it is! :puke: But there ARE wrong choices, like using that double 6 to take Shadowing!

 It is my sad duty to report that "Fluffy" the snowtroll is no more, after a brief encounter with Count Luther (induced to play for my undead team) he has been removed from the roster on a perminent basis

First blitz of the first turn with 2 assists, the apoth tried in vain to revive him but alas it was in vain......

He is now indeed a legend!!

However, Bugritt played on thro his sorrow and after a hard fight we drew the match 1-1.

Oh and he bought another Snowtroll

Yup, Fuzzy the rookie Snow Troll seems to be settling in okay, although he was rather ineffective in his first outing against Doberdors Hit Men, it was a close match, ending 2-2 and 1-1 on the CAS count.

This is very sporting of you! You should be filled with joy and delight that your Undead have rid your league of a menace (Unless I have misunderstood and those are tears of joy ). Hopefully, your boys took the corpse off the pitch and had a celebratory spit-roast (not premiership football style :o  ) after the match.

Cheers

It does a soul good to see a player like this meet his end. At least he went down fighting.
