Would really depend on the opponent. Against the elves he was not much good as my hits were limited pretty much to one blitz per turn. Unless Morg was the one who needed to do it (which often was not the case) then he was a very expensive tackle zone!

But I tend to prefer to know what I am getting as oppose to going for a random card.

On the other hand, I did realize that if I could have just got Morg the ball (and with AG3 it isn't that hard) then the elves would have one helluva time getting it back as they did not have Strip Ball.

One thing though, can anyone lead me to a link which has the new Star Players for the Chaos Pact (an other) teams? My options were limited by the fact that I did not know anything about a few of my Star Players.
From memory, it's Ugroth (the orc chainsaw), Fezglitch (the skaven ball and chain with disturbing presence and foul appearance), Bomber Dribblesnot, Zzharg, Morg and the thrall with dauntless. I've only used Ugroth, Fezglitch and Zzharg so far and I've found them all to be fun and useful. I think they're all listed in the .PDF in the Vault sub-forum.

Then I direct you to the .PDF in the Vault sub-forum (it's stickied at the top) and the LRB 5.0.

It's a forum here on TBB. It's called "Playtest Vault". You can browse there.

I have just rolled an Mv/Av increase for my Dark elf and am not sure what to go for. The move would be nice, but with so many ordinary skill choices - G A M - would it be better to go for something else?

I currently have:
7 marauders - 1 with Guard
1 Dark elf - rolled a 10 for skill
1 Skaven with block
1 goblin
1 troll
1 ogre

+MA seems the best choice. He's very likely to skill up again soon anyway.

+AV will get you more skills in the longrun and he will be one of the toughest guys around (just like the troll and ogre) and thats needed so you get your players on the pitch.

I'd take the +MA.

+MA

I wouldn't take the +AV unless he already had some other skills and the extra movement is really handy at a lower TV.

It depends on what role you see him taking. Somebody suggested the Dark Elf would do well with Horns, Leap, Very Long Legs and either Strip Ball or Wrestle. The ultimate cage breaker! Being new to the team I find I am very taken with the opportunity to mutate everything!

I would be tempted to ignore the roll, if you need more movement for a build, consider sure feet.

I'd personally go leap, followed by very long legs. That's a great player of offense or defense! 3rd? Frenzy, Horns, Strip Ball, Block, Wrestle, Jump-Up, etc, all are fine choices. Dodge, PAss Block, Side Step, Diving Tackle, Disturbing Presence are good too.

The question is... Is +MA better than all of those choices? For my money, no.

Yeah, I agree. the team has a lot of potential to be developed in so many ways, but at this early stage of your team you lack so many of the basic skills that any team needs: block, dodge, guard, etc. Leap is a great skill for any AG4 player and makes the elf very diverse in terms of blitzing or scoring. I would agree with Jural on this one.

At this point of your team the MA will be of minimal benefit, you need skills.
