Your worst game ever

Just to one-up the previous disaster:

I played a game today against a fairly fresh Undead team (incidentally, the same coach playing the Amazon team that totally trashed me, mentioned in the previous post). They're so fresh, their only real advatage over my team in a "hurty" game is their mummies (which I avoid like the plague and didn't really do much); other than that, he has the wights, two ghouls with block, and a zombie with block, and that's about it.

Yet somehow, I end up with one MNG thrower, a Niggeling on my best player, a dead lineman (only one with a skill), -1 AG on a catcher, and -1 AV on a lineman. Total casualties was 1-8.

... And the reason I played the game was to get the final bit of cash I needed for an ogre before the league season starts. Now I have to start it with half a squad and my Ogre Fund spendt on replacements.

Cheesy Crackers! That's a team breaker and a half...!

Have you considered going ahead and getting the Ogre, while relying on journeymen to boost you to 11...?

If not, I wish you the best of luck... and may Nuffle cast his blind eye at you always....

Well, I run a team with three catchers, and with two of them out of action, I had to use some of the Ogre Fund for a replacement. With two catchers, a journeyman lineman, and an AG 4 lineman filling in on throwing duties, I should manage for a single match. I need to score goals more than I need an ogre, after all.

However, once that's done and over with, I'm getting an ogre and my most signicant injured players back. It's not all bad; I was considering retiering a lineman once I got an ogre anyway. It's a bit bitter to effectivly lose a catcher though, I had two with MA 9; now I only have one left and that's less than half as awesome.

Worst game ever was about 11 years ago against a friends dwarves (i played high elves). And he´s sooooo slow. The match took 4,5 hours to play were I played about 1 hour and he 3,5.

I´m not sure if it was the last game against him but I belive so.

Otherwise...bad luck...doesnt really matter to me. I´ve fun at any game.

Well I’ve had a few – but recently a Dwarf Vs Orcs (Me) online. I didn’t play way – exposing myself early in the first half to try and sack the BC, but the response was just brutal. Well organised Crowd pushing plus brutal blocking, every armour roll gave KOd or worse.

I was only 1 – 0 down at half time. But set up the second half with 6 players (out of 14) (These are Orcs! Remember) – game ended 2 – 0. Shows how slow them Dwarves are! LOL….

I’ve had worse games – (mostly when the opposing coach is annoying or brags or moans) but I’ve never so soon it a match realised there’s no way I’m going to win.

16 Turns of basically doing nothing but standing Orcs up to be pounded again.

Not the worst game, but the worst last turn....

Playing against a Khemri team and I went for a game winning td with my human team. Tied 1-1 and I start by making some great dodge moves with my thrower (catcher already in the td zone). Get him out into the open and reach back and let it fly, when......bang!!!! Mummy intercepts the damn thing. Oh well guess it will end in a tie.....HAHAHAHA!!!! thats what I think.....
Mummy runs his 3 spots, goes for it twice and lets a long bomb go and it actually goes right to a Skeley who catches the damn thing. He runs down and makes one dodge to score the winning td...WHAT THE $?%& !!!!

Never seen so many 5`s and 6`s rolled, but hey thats Blood Bowl for ya.
