AG 5 Dark Elf Blitzer.... what's next?

Well I was ready to write down leap (for his second skill)...... and up came a double.....
Now normally I would always use a double..... eg NoS, Guard or Dump Off.....
However, I still feel leap is the best choice.
Anyone else have a view?

I'll stick with guard. The extra mobility given by leap on his next advance will make this skill even more useful.

Errr..... Dodge?
Sorry, I think the last skills advice thread I poked my nose into I gave the same advice. Suffice to say that I normally play Undead - the dodge skill fascinates and confuses me...

What about jump up?
1. he would be able to block even when starting prone, is good for assisting a Witch ELf or Linelef in the opponents half.
2. when he has been blocked down in the course of scoring, he has more movement to pick up the ball (AG5) and conclude the touchdown.

i would say NOS, then leap on his next skill, he ll be your main scorer .

NoS will PO your opponents no end

not a big fan of NOS but it seems like a major choice here.
Passblock on a basic 4+ is an alternative
leap on a 2+ is a good blitzer thing to have
dark elf though so maybe guard is a better choice for your "fighter"
I would go with leap or NOS based on this discussion

With AG5 he catches an accurate pass on 2+ within one TZ anyway, I'm not sure if this player wouldn't exploit his potential more with another skill...

NoS is overkill when he already has AG 5 - it is no better on him than it would be any other player on your team. Save it for someone who hasn't had the +1 AG advance.
Guard and Jump Up are sound choices. I tend to think Mighty Blow is a characterful and useful choice for DEs. I might still be tempted to still go for Leap though - your next SPP roll isn't that close.

NoS will only help him on interceptions. Anything else is a waste, as an AG4 with NoS would dodge on a 2 too.

guard...makes the whole team better and de's can't get enough

AG 5 Block Frenzy (and then Leap) will force every opponent to think not only twice, but a lot more every time he puts a players near the sideline.

OK - thanks for all the input....
Frenzy - 2 Witch elves are enough - 1 is ST 4

I don't want frenzy getting him out of position
Guard - I agree this is still a good choice - already have 1 blitzer with Blodge and Guard (so undecided)
NoS - I agree its wasted on AG5
Pass Block is available on a normal skill - so although a good choice, I prefer to develop linos or other blitzers with this
Jump Up - Hmm the trouble is this doesn't really make use of his ag 5.
Dodge is a normal skill for Elves
So its either Leap or Guard..... still leaning on leap - with Strip Ball to follow...........

Take Guard. If and when he gets his next skill, then take Leap. Thus, cage-breaking becomes a lot easier when you can tie up the assists and let the other blitzer do the dirty work.
And even if we don't think that far, having the ability to dodge easily is a major complement to that Guard.

Like Mestari stated, take Guard then leap. And you get an assist everywhere.
