"Yeah" Thrower 5 3 3 8 Pass, Sure Hands, Block

Rolled doubles - should I take dodge or nerves of steel?

I tend to use him as a running back on offense and a cornerback on defense.

Dodge would be nice to make him a blodger - tougher to tackle and can dodge away more easily.

OTOH, NoS, combined with Dump Off as next skill, would be very nice - and I have a pretty good gobbo catcher on the team...

Looking at the team, I'd consider making "Yeah" a proper thrower (Strong Arm followed by Accurate) and use the other thrower ("Burp" +1MA) as the team's runner.

gaijin.

Strong Arm all the way baby...

I like having a reasonable passing game available to my Orc teams - it helps a lot for those 2/3 turn drives and gives your opponent something else to worry about.

If you are determined to develop him as a runner/ball carrier then Dodge is a good choice.

I gave dodge to my orcish thrower and I never regreted it. Infact having a blodgin runner (doing a handoff to the one that should score, made stuff WAY easier. I managed a 2nd double and I gave him sidestep.... just perfect :D

Go for strong arm followed by accurate. Another double I would use for NOS. Makes him a pain if your cage got stuck.

If he's a RB mostly, go dodge.

Some unsolicited advice: I'd also start working up another player to play in his place on defense. As soon as an orc thrower gets some skills, he becomes a target.
