Orc-Newbie needs advice

I'm new to Blood Bowl and I have only played a handful of games. Nonetheless I'll join a league in a local shop in a week or two. Because all the players there are more experienced than I am I would appreciate some advice.
We start with 1.1 million gps instead of the normal 1 million to build our teams. What should I spend it on?

Here are my thoughts:

4 Black Orc Blockers 320,000
4 Blitzers 320,000
1 Thrower 70,000
1 Goblin 40,000
2 Lineorcs 100,000
3 Rerolls 180,000
7 Fan Factor 70,000

Thanks in advance,

EmperorNorton

Hmmm.. looks quite strong with 12 Orcs, but with all those position players you could come unstuck with no apothecary. Any thoughts on using a big guy to throw the little fella?

I'm restricted by the houserules to only use a Troll, and I don't want one.
I thought I could buy an apothecary after the first or second game.

I usually scoop my troll up after game 3 or 4. Orcs don't really need a big guy, but str 5 with av 9 and regen is never a bad thing.

I'd lose a lineorc for an apoth. You can buy a lineo after the first game, but if you get a death on one of your 8 Blitzers or BO's, you have to rebuy them and get an apoth.

But that would mean I'd have to play the Goblinn all the time.
Shouldn't I rather lose him and one Fan Factor?
Or probably downgrade one or even two Blitzers?

Apothecary needs to be bought ASAP and then all you need to buy is the re-rolls and linemen. I do like the line up for this team, very strong starting roster until the other teams catch up. How many games are you going to be playing?

It's an open league, so I guess I'll play as many games as I like.

Lower your FF by 1, drop the goblin, and pick up another lineorc.

Goblins are useless unless being thrown by a troll.

:o :o :o :o
They have dodge and access to AG skills like sure feet, catch, sprint. They are fantastic on a versatile orc team..

That's my take on it as well.

:o Gobbos are great at low TRs - before everyone has Block/Tackle/Mighty Blow players to hunt them down.

Start with them, let them die and just buy the good stuff as a replacements.

I would start with the troll - because the longer you leave it to get him the harder time he'll have getting SPPs.

I really don't want a Troll. "Really stupid" is too much of a drawback: I know my luck.
I'll rather save to get Ripper Bolgrot after a few games (Houserules say Starplayers can be bought permanently).

Yeah, but then you have a 150K troll that cant learn to block.
