How to win over Khemri with orcs ?

Greetings fellow coaches,
I am in a fumbbl league where my
Orcs are up against a Khemri
team.
Now what do I do about the 4 mummies, well how do I go about winning this game at all.
My orcs are not very skilled yet, and thus my primary means of winning previously in the league have been to use my higher str from 4 BoBs and a Troll. But against the 4 mummies it just dont look like i got that much str to throw around.
If I win this game I got a chance of moving up, so that is why I am looking for help.

After a breif look Id say that as you have you full 16 players available, use your linemem as mummy cannon fodder. Try as best you can to either get the mummys away from your main drive enabling you to use your strength 4 players like in your previous games, or if the mummies spread out, this should give you the chance to use the strength 4 players plus the guard to (hopefully) take them out of the game for a bit, keep your guard players where they can be most effective in your drive. Think about carrying the ball with your thrower until you take out his throw-ra though just as a precaution to the strip ball.
Hope that helps

Beat up on his throw-ra to reduce his chances of picking up the ball. Plus, 2 of his mummies haven't got block, so maybe gang up on them applying the finish with your fellers that have this skill. Running away from/around them is also a good plan - maximum tackle zones and also make him GFI am much as possible if he is going to try and lay the hurt.
Good Luck

I dont got 16 players, but 13 so I cant just sacrifice.
But I agree that it seems wise to try to dodge away from the blocking mummies and gang up on the non-blocking ones.
I have 50K so i can grap a Wiz for a surprise move or a starplayer freebooted with some secret weapon or some such
Maybe even a goblin, my Troll got pro after all ... uuh what to do.

Oh yes - the other option is FOUL, FOUL, FOUL. If you knock over one of his mummies, get as many players as possible over and foul him. You have enough players to risk 1 sending off! (and your player will come back next game).

I can't belive I'm giving advice on this subject, as a proud khemri coach I feel I'm betraying my brotherhood.
Try locking up his players with your linemen, keep in his face. there is noway he will dodge out with agillity 1 or 2. And he can't avoid rolling skulls forever, thus burning up rerolls. eventually shortening his turns with failed blocks.
Use your BoB's to punch a small hole in the defence, run your blitzers through,& pass to them. With the block skill they are a bit harder to knock down, should a errant skelleton run back to stop you.
When the khemri teams got the ball, make him punch his way forward, one square at a time. Use your linemen again for this. This will burn rerolls and frustrate the khemri coach, making him try somthing stupid\desperate, ie- THROW THE BALL!
If the khemri coach trys to cage the ball then concentrate your attack on one side\corner and push the ball carrier out to a edge & then blitz him.
( you will probably only get one shot at breaking the cage so make sure you've got the numbers and position before attacking. mind you even if you don't get the ball, a half broken cage is pretty usless to the khemri coach. watch him scramble.)
I kinda hope this helps???

Thanks all, I got me a chainsaw and think I will just 'sacrifice' linemen to the mummies, and hope Nobla can blitz/foul em to extinction.
If I get you right Bossy you are saying I shouldnt cage myself, but rather go for the passing game ... it might work but my thrower are slow and only agi 3, but it just might work.
The problem is he got strip ball on his Thro-ra ... I gather to stop just this play, and when the ball is on the ground and we are doing the tackle zone dance, his mummies can get free to join in. Also I think he is a better player than I am

I lost the game 0-1, but I blame two things:
1: He started with a Blitz! and on his first turn made a CAS with every block
2: He was very lucky on both armour and injury rolls, while I was lucky to stun one of his AV7 skels, he killed and injured everything he came near.
I am now even more convinced that I really dont like Khemri

Yes yes, but...
HOW DID THE CHAINSAW DO????
That aside - bad luck, brudder! I feel yer pain.
(And don't knock the orc thrower! Sure hands helps him pick up the ball - and totally negates strip ball! Run a couple gobbos and maybe a blitzer down field a bit, get the ball in the thrower's hands... and make your opponent sweat a bit! Gives you more options and splits the defense...)

RedJak what you describe was my game plan, but he got Blitz! and bang CAS my linemen meant to tie up his mummies.
I have to use BOBs to stand next to the mummies and get bonked - one BOB CAS in turn 2 or 3.
I get two blitzers a bit into his half and the mummies tied up ... I see my only chance is to pass to them and run like hell. The problem is that pass is a 4+, still with pass skill it is possible and my only chance as i see it.
I end up fumbling the ball rolling 1 and a 1
There is a big brawl with him having the advantage with half my team in CAS/KO box. There was a tense moment where i had only one orc standing and he was about to pick up the ball.
I stop him from scoring and first half is over, but now its his turn to receive, and he slowly rumbles down to make a TD in his 6th or 7th turn. I get one lucky break when he makes a 2d block with a non-blocking Thro-Ra before moving the Thro-Ra with the ball - and get a skull/pow-skull.
But I have to make a 2d against block and fail.
I had bad luck with the chainsaw it took two turns with re-rolls to get it started in both drives (small luck i got to keep it for both) - and he had made so many CAS that when i got it started I couldnt get clear to his mummies - he made two stuns on non-mummies and then i miscalculated distance and he got blitzed by a non skilled skel and was another CAS.
I still think he was a good idea to have for the game, again my bad luck and a small mistake prevented him from doing what he was meant to do.
You can see the re-play if you like, and feel free to tell me what I did wrong
