How to play Rat Ogres

I played a Rat Ogre for the first time yesterday, I didn't suffered any turnover because of him (thanks god
)) but I'm not sure I used it well.
In fact I'm not sure that having him on the first line is a good idea ...
May I have your feeling about how to use it when attacking and when defending ?
(I have 1 storm vermin too in that team)

Yo geez, I'm probably not the best person to respond to this as I don't regalarly use the vermin, but I would suggest using the RO as a sweeper on defence and may be not using him at all on offence. What is his value on offence? Surely you want to score as quickly as possible, just use your gutter runners to hand off to each other and its TD in seconds.

On offense keep the ro off the los and use him to break a path for your scorer.

In fact I want to use a Rat Ogre because in the league there are only Orcs and Humans and that if I just have gutter runners they won't finish the season
)

Yeah but if you pass to a gutter runner who moves half the length of the pitch to hand off to another gutter runner to score then they are only on the pitch for a maximum of 2 turns. If you use RO to punch a hole then your opponent may take the opportunity to hit your GR's. On defence you don't necessarily need them on the pitch at all and then you can use your RO. DD.

If you scan through previous topics or do a search you will find previous threads on the subject of useing Rat Ogres. Those of us who have had this discussion once or twice before may not respond to your post so always do a search.

Longfang's a miserable old Rat Ogre himself, so don't take too much notice. He has a point though...but then he has a moan if somebody drags up a 6 month old thread as well!

Surely that all depends on the tone in my voice and when I wrote the earlier post it was quite pleasant. But hey, just trying to be helpful. An old Rat master once said to me "You gotta be cruel to be kind", It was the last thing he ever said to me too.
And whatever that teddy bear is doing I want some too.
