Star Player models and rules from the fluff?
Stars like Vermink Stink, Engol "the Exterminator" Von Evilstein, Mad BUll Chainspleen, Urgrain Kneebender,Hubris Rakarth and even Speccy McGroan and Rondo Magoo could be fun.

Actually I think it would be cool to see a whole new batch of stars that are correctly priced and useful for freebooting.

See Timun's post(in this section)
It has a link to the Oberwald which has all the 2nd ed stars converted over to 3rd(but still useable).
If they brought out more stars I wouldnt use them for league play,
but one off games are a totally different matter

I'd like to see new Star Players added to the game, and I'm pressing for including experimental stars with the new teams we add. New models would also be great. I'd really like to see some quirky stars added to the game - things like a cursed Dragon Ogre, a smart Squig, etc. I think these comical characters would add more to the game than more Oberwald clones. (Thrudd is a good example of this, in my opinion.)

Unfortunately, I didn't add any for the "allies" article in Blood Bowl Mag 3, so you'll have to wait a bit!

Cheers.

I don't really fancy star players. I'd rather build my own. Perhaps if they were more like Thrud... just as destructive as they were helpful.

Thrud is fun, I wouldn't mind seeing more like that, a very very wild animal for instance.

That's exactly what i mean!

Some of those pathetic Halflings in the fluff would make great (aint) star players!
