Apothecary?

Post by Aksho »

Hi!
Just some advise for a noob playing his first leage.
My DE Team includes 11 players. Should I go for a 12one after the first 2 Games or should I buy a Apothecary fist to help my Players staying uninjured. Not quiet shure about that, but maybe the profs have some advise about that question. Thx for help.

I would buy an apo as soon as possible.
It saves you money.

Some more Statements about that?

Extraquestion: When exactly do you use the Apothecary, just for heavy injuries etc. or for the first appiering injury of your players to stay in game?

depends on the player injured, for an injured linemen i would`nt waste my apothecary,i'd save it for important players. at serious injuries and death i would use the apo, if it's not the very first turn.
on valuable blitzers or the like i would even heal an injury (or a K.O. when it's in the additional time), when the game is at an deciding point.

Personally, I play Skavens and I never use the apoth on linerats because even if they die, I can replace them easily.

In a DE team with only 11 players, it is less clear because being outnumbered means more pounding, it will depend on the opposing team and the state of your KO box, and even the moment in the match it happens in.

I won't use an apo for Badly Hurt or MNG.He should save my players from permanent injuries like mng or SI or worse.

Always buy an apoth before another player. At low TRs you are really unlucky to get more than one death/permanent injury per game so he helps keep your players alive.

In genernal the apoth should be saved for deaths & permanents regardless. If its getting late in the game you might want to use it on a BH, MNG or even a KO or stun (for tactical advantage).

Well I see the point here. Well I hope, I will keep it in mind against bashing Teams, but I will do it like you said, hopefully I will get a Trainer with a lot of FF in the first game then I may be able to buy the Apoth. after the first round.
Thx for your advise guys

i'd start with a strong team, and then buy an apothecary as soon as possible, if anyone dies or is injured, it's not hard to replace them in the beginning with around 100 Team rating, you tend to get money fast.

i only save my apothocary for kill results or any injuries resulting in a Niggling or worse, and still only on starplayers or super expensive to replace players (like big guys),
