what would you give a gr with dodge and ag5 on his second skill roll, i rolled a double, so my first thought was very long legs. any other opinions, please?

horns? dauntless? he can walk into cages (or leap later) and blitz the carrier...
Long Legs seems a waste of the AG5 to me, unless you are going for PassBlock later maybe...

It depends: if your league is Elf-heavy you might think of developing him into a master-interceptor
AG5, VLL, Pass Block and Catch - he'll intercept on 3+ with the chance to re-roll.
But this is a very specialized player then.
If you go for him as an offence player you might consider giving him leap on his next non-doubles, that will make him unstoppable with AG5.

PassBlock is exactly what i thougt of. are horns and the highthened strength by dauntless cumulative? where is this stated in the rules?

it is cumulative. It does not need to specify. Dauntless elevates you to the ST of your opponent, Horns adds one to your ST, it is given practise to use both traits to have always a 2-D block.

I would go the Pass Block route, but then I am of the school of thought that the Interception is the biggest play in BloodBowl.

It really depends on your league and the rest of your roster. What do your other GR's look like?

If you go the passblocking route consider nerves of steel on those doubles

ag5 and doubles ? give hime Big Hand. Then Leap. then you have the most annoying defense-GR ever, who can leap everywhere to pick up the ball and then dodge away and pass. trust me, i have one with only ag4, and it's already a real pain for my opponents, so with 5 AG it's a wonder

On next double definitely nerves of steel. No more need to dodge out before passing.
Make sure you score the TD the same turn though, or your beloved gr will go squish the next turn ...

Sidestep might come in handy as well after that!

yeah, after that, on doubles it's NoS or Safe Throw, and Sure Hands or Sidestep on regular rolls. of course, any +STAT increase is to be taken (exception being double 5 i think).

AG5 GR? Doubles? I'd give him Dauntless.

Agree on the routes up, but next regular skill must be block or he's dead, dead, dead.

If you are going to go the pass block route you could even consider Foul Appearance.
