Slayer's third skill, a double 5

I need a bit of assistance om a small matter...
My slayer got his third skill. The two others are Mighty Blow and Tackle.
I rolled a double 5 on the skill roll. Should I take the +MA or should I pick the stand firm trait? Or something else entirely?
I consider dodge to be a waste on a slayer, since he should be doing the blocking, but I'm not entirely sure on this matter...
I have two runners on the team, and a blitzer with 6 in MA.

Having 4 players with MA6, and especially one troll slayer, should add some speed to the team. You're right in not giving priority to dodge, since you could frenzy your way through a line. However, if it ends in a PB dodge will keep your slayer on his feet afterwards.
An extra bonus if you blitz someone with your 5th move you can frenzy him an extra sqaure without GFI. Stand firm is also an option, but troll slayers are the positive exception on your limited mobility. Stand Firm doesn't really add to the mobility and, as I said you can frenzy in stead of dodging, so you won't have a big need for the dodge risk reduction SF offers.
In other words, I would take any possibility to improve the mobility on my dwarf team. But if you want to dodge a lot with your slayer, take dodge rather than SF, or does he end up at the sideline a lot?

When i'm considering SF on the slayer I intend to run the ball close to the sideline with the slayer assisting the ball carrier a littel further away from the sideline. The opposing team would need to think twice about getting close to the ball carrier...
I can also use SF to dodge without falling over. But I would block before I dodge. That's the runner's and blitzers job... Remember, AG2 on slayers. I got 5 rerolls for the moment.
But, as you said, 4 players with movement 6 really improves a dwarven team...
Maybe I should just roll a dice on it?

While I would normally take the movement - and would always do so on a Blitzer or Runner - I think Slayers benefit greatly from Stand Firm. It can be REALLY annoying for an opponent too.
Go for SF. I doubt you'll regret it (but taking the MA is not a bad choice either).

I also have stand firm on two longbeards, so i can run a little show on the sideline
Not that they can manage to keep up with the ball carrier, but's that a dwarf coatches life

Stand firm or move.

It is worth considering Side step as an alternative to SF.
SS gives you just as much protection from crowd surfing, but also makes it more likely you can reposition yourself to get the blocks you want in your turn.
The downside is that it doesn't help with dodges.

SF, SS or the move, no other option as far as I'm concerned...
Personally I'd take either SF or SS... depending on whim which of the two.

What about the second block of a frenzied opponent player if I pick sidestep? There is a dark elf team and a chaos dwarf team with a frenzied player. And more to come!

you pick were you go on both blocks, but he does get a second block. You could, however, use SS to get in a position in which you have all the Assists and not him

Though he gets a second block on stand firm as well, right?

Stand Firm, incase he ends up near the sidelines...
