SPP Spreading

Well I´d like to ask how you are trying to spread your SPP around your Team. I know that some Trainers prefer getting some "super-star-Splayers" getting all SPP and making the game for them, but that are the players to be killed first. So how are you trying to improve your whole team.
I like doing a rotation system. Placing the lineman and Blitzer there where I expect them to hit ur run making a Touchdown. The lineman 1-2 SPP behind a skill-role is always my balltaker and Thrower for the kick.
How are you going for it and do you have other exp. about getting your whole team skilled?

Depends very much on the team you play and the game. With elves I try to get everybody a completion or two to get started. With them it is also quite easy to choose your scorer. I generally look at the team before starting the game and work on players that need only a few points. It also depends a lot on the game it self. If you have a few 'dead turns' in which you cannot do anything but hope for a casaulty or a completion I will try to score a few points with those players. Also if you have a comforatble lead or you don't mind a draw I might take some extra risk and score with a lineman.

Indeed with comfortable leads it is nice to let a less experienced lineman score. However it is inevitable that more experienced players have a bigger chance on SPP, as they have the skills to cause casualties or score TDs.
Guard typically gives others chances to cause casualties and earn SPP.

Elves are the easiest teams when trying to distribute SPP.
Obviously, the wardancer and the catchers can take care of themselves, SPP-wise. Lino's aren't difficult to get to their first star-player roll, and when one of them get closer to the second, I concentrate on making completions with them. It's not a fast way, but I usually play to get those TDs to my positionals.

Nah, if the only difference between a lino and one of the catchers to make the TD is a simple handover, I usully go for the lino. These 3 points com in soooo handy in terms of getting to the next skill ...

it is not "inevitable" that the positionals get the SPPs. it really all depends on how you DECIDE to spread your SPPs. of course, if you infiltrate 2 catchers in your opponent's half on turn 1, it will "inevitably" come to making them score. but the point is to know that you will spread SPPs, and to make everything you need to achieve that. when i see skaven teams after 3 or 4 matches where only GRs have scored, it's because the coach doesn't think about the long-term, because it's really easy to score with skaven linos... but of course, it's easier with GR.

Totally agree with Gus. Sometimes it is necessary to make use of the handy stats of your catchers to make that winning TD, but otherwise, spread it out!
