Defense vs Batwing Loonies

Post by Scooby »

I'm playing woodies. The goblins have batwing loonies and an ogre(not a troll). Any ideas on how to defend this team?

Even with this flyers they should be no match for woodelfs.

Strong arm wont work with TTM so don't know why the thrower should get Strong Arm. With AG2 the are no good ball handlers, but living ammunition.

But a gobbo team should be only a fun game for a welf team.

Mark the Ogre. Then he won't be able to throw the Loonies around effectively.

Don't forget that, even though he has the extra armor, you get +1 to the injury roll.

That's the point. They're meant to target players. The strong arm is due to the professional flying and the snazzy suit I'd guess.

SA won't work with TTM but that Flyer thing effectively works like SA. Or Accurate, for that matter, since it comes down to the very same.

not the same, as (I assume) the SA means the Gobbo can be thrown one band further!

This should be an easy game for your woodies!! Let the wardancers take out the winged ones, and stay away from the ogre (unless you have a treeman bigguy). Defend deep and beat the crap out of all the winged gobbos.

Your advantage is: ST, MA and AG, so it should be very easy and very funny.

Easy task.

Block as much Gobbos as you can and with St 2 your opponent should be no problem for you.
