fouling

you are 1-0 behind, last turn 2nd half.

You can score without rolls, which means overtime.

all players from your opponent are down, and you can foul who you like (but none are terribly good, it is just about the number of players)

You can foul with 6 assists. The eye is not on you

Do you foul? If your player is sent off it will cost you the game, if you can get him off the field the odds are in your favor of winning the game.

what do you do?

lol
I wouldn't, since it could cost me the game and gets me nowhere (no terribly good players down). I'd rather not take the risk and just draw. If I would have gotten the ref or would have been 1-0 up I would have fouled without a doubt.

If I see no chance of victory or draw on ot without getting one more guy out then I do foul but otherwice do not.

NO fouling. I learned the hard way to always score a TD when I can. Shit happened a bit too often to me.

If it is going on to Sudden Death I would make the Foul. 1 more player of the field can make the difference.
But I cann see the risk in this Situation but I would go for it :)

I agree with Fronko here.

I had a similar situation in my last game, there was one player on the opposing team left and I really wanted him off the field so I could brag (last season's champs) but it was last turn so I couldn't take the risk and had to score for the win.

I answered "no" this morning, but actually I might; if I'd have a DP doing the foul

Then again, considering that the last match I played I fouled three times and the ref got 2 6s against me means that that would very likely cost me the game.

well, i was at 2-1 last game; and I I hadn't rolled a 1 for the OFAB (Re-Rolled) and then another for one of my GFI's I might actually have scored :(

If I like you I would not foul, because the game would then continue and we could have more fun.
If I hate your gut I'd foul hoping to get sent of and kill your player, thus ending a horrible game with style!

Flix read the question. Its not about fouling in general, but fouling in this situation. Is it clever or stupid to foul in this situation. I would foul, if it would bring me the necesary one man more. And only with a DP.
