I,m thinking about two different lineups and some feedback would be appreciated. Please note that i have 8 lineelf figs so a team of all lines is out. anyway here goes:
8 lineelfs
2 Blitzers
1 thrower
3 Re-rolls
2nd lineup
7 lineelfs
3 blitzers
1 witch elf
2 RE-rolls
40 k ( either on cheerleaders, asst coaches or in the bank)
So what do you think?

Maybe I cannot calculate but where do you have 40k gp left in the second lineup?
7 LE 490
3 BL 300
1 Wi 110
2 RR 100
I would drop the throwwer as he is overpriced and gets the SPPs you need to improof your lineman.
My lineup:
9 LE
2 Bl
3 RR
and 20k in the bank to buy an Apo or player quite early.
You might consider to hire an Apo dirct from the start and change one RR into the Apo. I would do that because I'm a save player!

Doesn't add up. You have 0 gps left over in the second list. Anyway I'd take the first, turn the thrower back into a lineman and keep the 20k in the bank to be sure you can buy an apothecary after the first match. You don't need a thrower anyway.
edit: posted the exact same thing as dendron at the same time, funny that

I was gonna try the 1st lineup, so I'm glad that people agree with it.

if your playing vault 1.6 the thrower is a good buy, you can get leader for a skill and get that clutch RR number 3 or 4 right away.

lol absent... or "how to push one's point"

still, i almost agree with you, except that the extra 20k for the thrower plus the 20k for the skill add up to 40k. the RR is only 50k. of course it's cheaper, but it also depends on a player (which means you don't get the RR when he's out, or if he dies, etc) and you don't have th eRR handy at the very start, you have to wait 1 or 2 games before that, or use your first MVP. and since you don't necessarily need a thrower with DEs, it might not actually be a good buy...
myself, i wouldn't get a thrower.

naw, it's 100k for the RR after the first game right? so I'd go with a thrower

Politics and bickering over vault rules aside, I'm going to play high elves and I want a 3rd RR asap, so I am going to take leader(personally), thats it.

Wouldn't logic dictate to first get the reroll, second the thrower then?

agree, but if you can first pay 20k extra to get a thrower or save it i would buy the thrower.

when i said the RR is 50k, it is because if you don't get the thrower, you get it at the creation.

2 blitzers
9 linemen
3 RR
20k cash
OR
2 blitzers
1 thrower
8 linemen
3 RR
You get the RR at the start either way...
