Halfling advice needed!

hey there!

My old flatmate recently talked me into playing a halfling team on FUMBBL, so i eventually succumbed! I was rather apprehensive with the fling statline but i played a couple of games anyway. The two games couldnt have been more different, First one i failed a lot of TTM's and lost 3-1 vs skaven, really should have been 2-2. Unforutnately a disconnect just before full time meant only a turn or two are visible.

The second match was much better for me, i won 3-0 against humans 10TR above me (should have been 4-0!)

I have been heavily relying on Deeproot in my first 2 games, but i cant afford him next match!!!

Here is the replay if anyone would have some pointers for me!

I know Galak is the guy to talk to and flings can have a winning record if played well but he is far too busy to talk tactics i reckon! :)

They can apply to goblin teams as well and I find myself regarding it many times. Of course we were talking about flings right...sorry

well, flings are more suited for "serious" minus play i think, since the strategy mentionned by Galak relies on two things (apart from skill of course): freebooting the Treeman Star Player, and stealing away bunch of RRs.

It's a great guide, very helpful to Stunty coaches.

P.S. Galak didn't like it when all the gobbo coachs on PBeMBBL started using it, especially against him! I think he'll keep the next one secret! ;)

Correct. Re-roll denial and 3 Treemen ... very key to Flings doing well. Re-roll denial is often the more important of the two.
