We are just starting to play a v.small league(3 teams..)

In a fit a Ebay madness i secured (at no small expense) a Sakven team cause i have always liked the skaven back story

having just played a pre season practice game using a human team at the weekend i am now bricking it ARMOUR 7 - i'm mince meat -

I know one player is fielding an orc team (with a possible orge)
and the other team is likely to be either human or Dark elf

So open up a can of vetran advice

1)Opening team rosta (LRB 4.0 - unfortunatley ratogre ag 2 !!! dammit)
2)Recomended skill progression
3)Sneaky tactics \ influencing the SPP to get the right skills to the right guys first
4)Any other sage advice (and no not buy another team ..preferrably one with 4 mummies!!!)

in a frenzy of optimization, you could try:

010 1 FF
240 4 RR
320 4 GR
250 5 LR
180 2 SV

use and abuse the strengths of the GR. with 4 of them, your opponent is under constant menace. and you have the 4 RR to try a LOT of those 3+ or even 4+ pickups in 1/2 TZ.
or swap 1 RR with an apoth and +1 FF for more safety.
i'm sure others will give you rosters with RO and more FF, and better than me, so i'll leave that to them =)
