#5 Skill for Gutter Runner

Post by Dargeshaad »

My gutter runner just got enough SPP for his fifth skill roll (no double), so far he has 9 2 4 8 (Magic Helmet) Block, Dodge, Strip Ball, Tackle, Dauntless. I was thinking of taking either Shadowing (9 MA is a wicked combo + Tackle), Side Step (Can use sidelines etc.), Diving Tackle (Good combo with Tackle again) or Leap (To leap into cages). I have another GR with Dauntless as well and + MA. A OTS GR and a GR with just Block, Dodge. The league is Necro, Orc, Chaos, High Elf, Lizardmen, Wood Elf

Fairly aggressive GR this guy. I think side-step is a real benefit to this guy and will help with his survivability going forwards.

Leap is fun but what about a core skill like sure-hands as you cannot afford for this guy to not pick up the ball when you are on a drive & also for pass offs!

I think I'd go with either leap or sidestep, hard to say which you'd use more without knowing your play style a bit...which i don't.

If it were me I'd probably get the sidestep...but I'd think long and hard about it. :)

Don't forget Dirty Player.

That GR could really acquire a bounty on his head.

I think I lean towards leap just ahead of side fall (er.. side step) my self.

sidestep. only adds to his mobility/survival factor.

Definitely wouldnt take leap since I wouldnt want to put a rat with his skills in the middle of everything where even if you strip the ball, his ST2 is going to get him killed being buried in the scrums.

Doubles would have to be Horns, or probably Leap.

no question, horns with doubles. horns/dauntless is a great combo for a GR.

But since it isn't a double, I'd go for sidestep.
