Undead vs. Highelf

I need your help for my game against the undead.
He has 3 ghouls, 1 with accurate and sure hands, 1 with side step and 1 with pass block and catch.
He has 2 Wights, 1 with shadowing and one with strip ball.
2 Mummies, one with multiple block and one with break tackle.

3 of my lineelf have block, one has kick and one strip ball.
My lionwarrior, block, dodge and sprint.
And 1 of my Dragonwarriors st4.

What should i do to win against the undead?
He is not a typical undead player. He makes no cages, he passes zhe ball with his ghouls.
I`m thinking about a wizard, to take the fireball strip.

What do you think?

I never played against undead before and i don´t know what to do.
His twop mummies are good blockers.

What should i do against them? Let them stay an dogde away?
Ma 3 is no so fast.

If he doesn't cage, a wizard isn't much use IMHO. I'd say hunt his ghouls and stay away from his mummies. If you need a TZ on a mummy try to position it so that a follow-up gets that mummy further out of position.

try to score as much as U can (U have better ball-handling) and to blitz his ghouls every turn. Use kick as wel as your higher Movement to your advantage.
take care about your +1ST DW - he will be his primary target, because he can block his mummies and ghouls, too.

Try and always keep someone in scoring range, from the sound of it he will drop the ball somewhere down the line if he's passing a lot, pick it up and score in the same turn.

Or you can blitz the ball carrier, but the same basic tenet goes: only do that if you can score in the same turn.

agree with the opinions above

-hurt them ghouls
-stay away from mumys
-and try to pin/block the whigt´s after you got control over the ghouls
then his ballgame should be over.
-try to get hands on the ball as soon as possible, set him under pressure
while he´s trying to pick up ball, hunt him with the lino with strip ball and
a second player who can give assists for the final blitz
-whenever there is a ghoul on the ground, foul him (only av7)

-and the best way to win games....roll sixes!!

lol if he doesnt cage, and plays a passing game you've won before you start, score quickly as possible and wait for his ball handling errors, his AG3 against your 4 will hurt him in the long run

Thanks so far,

we have a little league with 9 coaches. One game against everyone and the best 4 coaches are in the playoffs.
Now i have six wins ( skaven, necros, chaos dwarfs, dark elfes, high elfes, wood elfes; i know in our league are lot of elf teams, my highelf and pro elf, too )
With my six wins i´m definatly in the playoffs.

Is it better to leave my Lionwarrior in the box for the playoffs. It is my best player. But i have 60.000 gp in tresory. and i have an apo.

Three of my linos can get a skill, if i pass etc. with them a little bit.

I don´t take the wizard, perhaps in the finals. But i want to buy another lionwarrior to break on the left or! right side.

Speed is the key. Your players are faster. If you got the game in the bag. Then you start to leave your best players in the dugout.

Doesn't seem as very hard match to me. His mummies doesn't have block, so just don't let him multiply block you to avoid more casualities. If he doesn't make cages use your strip ball player to get the ball. If you feel you have ball safe faul his ghouls with player you want to keep unharmed so if he got ejected no problem ;). And if you really scare of injuries you can freebot 2 players to have meatshield at your LOS, but I think it is not necesarry. Also keep in mind that you have no real speed advantage untill you get rid of some ghouls.

I won 3:0, 0:2 Cas. We had "swaltering heat". After my first TD i had always 1 or two in the box. 1-2 always in the k.o. box.
His ghouls had problems to take the ball. This was the way for me to score.
Thanks for helping.
Now i had 7 wins with one TD against me. I´m on the first in our league.
After the next game we start our play-offs.

Sorry, no website. But this it at work.
If you want some details send me a mail or so on.
I can give you my Cockerel and my starting line up at the grid.
My tactict now is to take the ball on the left side and when the opponent is there to get the ball over the right side in the back of the field.
2 or 3 TD every game.
And my defense is also good. Only one TD against me in 7 games.
I played against Necros, CD, Woodelves, DE, HE, Skaven, Undead.

The last game i lost 2 Lineelf ( CAS ), they are not on the line up for The next game, shit. I had to buy a lionwarrior ( i want to do this before ), now i have only 11 players.
I hope i get enough money to get thrud in the playoffs.

I will be playing against Necros, Proelves or Woodelves.
The 2nd and 3rd are skaven and Undead.
