Skills for Human Blitzers...

I try to built the following blitzers on my human team:
2*Block, Tackle, Diving Tackle Shadowing
these are designed to tackle catchers without blitzing them;
tackle will denie them their dodge re-roll while diving tackle forces a -1 when dodging to an empty square. Shadowing is what i do if they succed to dodge away
2*Block, Tackle, Mighty Blow, Strip Ball
these are designed to sack throwers with a blitz
I hope to cause casualties to throwers since they are hard to replace. If the thrower is out of reach then tackle helps to knock catchers over. Im not sure about strip ball. Catchers dont have the ball and throwers have sure hands...
Any Tips ?

So you don't use guard for your team at all??
What about this shadow idea for a catcher instead? If this player should not be designed for blitzing anyway, maybe you can create a catrcher that way!

Well i rolled a double for one of the blitzers... i decided to take diving tackle;
How would you skill a guard ? what about taking Dogge for the double
So it would be Block, Dodge, Guard, Stand Firm ?
The Cathers then would do the Tackling...

Or give Gaurd to your Linemen when they get doubles, Thats pretty much what I do, Maybe build one blitzer with piling on/Mighty Blow combo you can then use him to get rid of the better players on the other side.

If you rolled a double either take stand firm or dodge. I don't like dodge AND stand firm/guard on the same player really. If you go for the guard type player, take stand firm. Otherwise make your bitzer more mobile and go blitzing. I would prefer mighty blow and strip ball for this one, I think.
And yes, Zy-Nox, guard for a lineman is a very good idea. I will rethink my lineman strategy in the near future!

Why not :
two catcher tackler with tackle, shadowing, ...
one injurer with migthy blow, tackle, pro (or Strip the ball or frenzy or dauntless)
one scorer with sure hands

I'd foul that guy with a DP every time he tried that, I hope you do too.
