Hello, im new to this community so first of all hello to everyone here :D
I've started playing bloodbowl in a week or so with my group of friends and we are going to start a league pretty soon, and i was wondering on my starting team. Its a 100TR league and we will be around 6 players.
Ive made a few friendlys trying to learn the game and all and choose chaos dwarvs has my team. My main doubt right now is to wether 2 bull centaurs are worth or if i should go with a big guy instead. Ive read some posts and every1 seems to really like them but with 2 agility i dont like them that much but thats probably cause im not an experienced player yet and havent found theyr true value. I was also using a minotaur so it would take my blitz away leaving the centaurs trying to do other stuff. I wont be taking a mino anymore tho, it screwed me over too many times and i got tired of it :x so if i take a big guy it will be a troll.

So thats basicaly it, at 130k are 2 BC worth it in a small league of 6 players? Oh and btw does any1 uses more than 2 RR now that they cost 70k? cause i cant find money to get 3 of'em anymore :(

I've not played with a lot of Chaos Dwarves but I've played against them a bunch.

Personally with the increased re-rolls I'd take the 2 and not take a big guy with a negetrait. Your Two bulls are worth the money.

With sprint and sure feet they are FAST, and even with ag 2 will force multiple guys to have to handle each one. At 2 opponents per bull your 6 chaos dwarves will only have to tie up 7 opponets to leave the 3 hobbies un-marked.

At a minimum you stand much better chance to gt a hobgoblin with the ball free (or a bull) for the TD.

Get two. Once they get block and break tackle, they're nigh unstoppable.

My first BB team ever was C.Dwarf, and nothing made me bang my head against the table more than the goddamn Minotaur. I swore never to take a BG again, but to stock up on RR and develop those Bulls instead of relying on that stupid... useless...

foams at the mouth

goes and lies down for a bit

Been playing CD for a little while now. You definatly want the two BCs. And there is a way to start with 3 RRs. Its not worth it but you can. It would look something like this
5 Hobby
4 Chaos Dwarf
2 BC
5 FF
3 RR

Personally I started with the following line up
4 Hobby
5 Chaos Dwarf
2 BC
9 FF
2 RR

After my first game I had enough for an apoth with some left over. After my second game I had two guys skilled, including my 2 TD 1 Cas 1 MVP Bull Centaur, and purchased the last Dwarf.

As a person who used to start teams with Big Guys a lot of the time I can tell you, your better off with 2 BCs. Especially since usually a Big Guy is great until that turn when you really need him to do something in order for you to break up an opponents cage or just to knock the ball loose. Thats when you fail that WA or your RS rolls.

well thx for all the help guys :)
The minotaur im definitly never gonna use him again, damn bastard was always screwing me up :x but i guess the troll can do the same thing so i'll go with the 2 Bull centaurs.
Im probably gonna go with:
5 Dwarfs
2 BC
5 Hobos
2 RR
5 FF

I could take 9 FF but my oponents are all big fans of beating up other teams and if i dont take a reserve for my next game i know im gonna be in trouble :) Ill probably buy an apothecary after tehh 1st game and then save for another dwarf.
