skill for two human blitzers with ag increase

Hello there!
My hummies are getting quite developed. The team is without catchers, as I wanted to see what hummies would do without them (at the start). Now I have:
Ogre (block)
2 blitzers (guard)
2 blitzers (+1 ag)
Thrower (accurate)
5 Linos (-)
1 Lino (kick)
5 RR
What should I give the 2 blitzers? With the extra ag they are picking up SPP's pretty quickly. Tackle/strip ball for better backfield sweeping? Guard as mobile assists? And on doubles? They dodge pretty good, but dodge is always nice. Nerves of steel however would turn them into excellent receivers and I wont even need the catchers..
I am in doubt...
Thanks beforehand!

With this team you won't have problems scoring. So I'd go for skills that help you in defense. Therefore no NoS. You need tackle and you need strip ball. Your Guarders should get Tackle, their job is to be in the thick of it anyway. Your +AG should get Strip Ball. They are mobile enough to really use it.

agree with above.
I would give one of the ag4 blitzers leap. Helps you in offence and
defence. I love to jump in a cage and blitz the ballcarrier even whenit´s a two dice block against me. No risk no fun...
At offence this guy can score even when there´s no way through
the enemy line (even with ag4). Sometimes important when you are under pressure and you need to score quickly.

You should try to let you linos pick up some skills (BUT only when it doesn't cost you the victory). So try to score with your lino and with the back up of the AG back ups this should be quite easy.
The skill selection I agree with the others. Leap is a try when skinks caged up. Then you still need strip ball and you a brilliant defence player.
Good Luck with this team.

Most linos have 3 or more spp's, but the blitzers just block more, hence get skills easier. Thanks for the advice! LEap can be an option (on a double), but I am still in doubt whether or not dodge increases survivability...

i always take tackle on my elf blitzers, agi 4 means you can always dodge your guy to where tackle is needed, i imagine it's the same here, and i would think about mighty blow on the gaurd blitzers, since they are "in the middle of things" they won't use tackle as much as mighty blow, because things with dodge don't stay and fight normally

yes, and that reminds me on all those dead wardancers with
block/dodge combo.
an other option on a double could be stand firm. and that i would
prefer over dodge. you can try dodges you would never do, even
with dodge-skill.
block/guard/stand firm = tuff guy
so many combinations and only one you can choose....

gaurd sidestep can be one of the most frustrating skill selections too, block my guy and he is going right to where gaurd is gonna drive you crazy

Yeah but stand firm is more usefull in tight scrums (were guard is often most needed) because usually there's not much space to sidestep to in the first place. Especiallly with scrumming lines: any pushback takes your guard guy out of the line, even with side step, while a stand firm guy holds his place in the line.
Side step is more usefull for players like catchers who usually won't get involved in scrums.

Dodge does increase survivability, but I would still take Stand Firm over Dodge. Stand Firm means you never fall on dodges, and it means that you can hug the sideline without fear.
I would also like to say that getting that first skill (usually block) on your linemen will improve the team alot, so when you have the chance, score with the linemen

And try to make quick passes with the to Ag 4 blitzers if you ever have those useless one-turn drives.
