Best Chaos Dwarf Starting Roster

Alright, so with the RRs now costing more I was wondering exactly what I should be starting with on the Chaos Dwarf team. I've come up with 4 possibles and I'm pretty sure which I'll use, just looking for some more opinions.

Most likely one:
4 Hobbys
5 CD
2 BC
2 TRR
9 FF

2nd
2 BC
1 Troll
4 Hobby
4 CD
2 RR
6 FF

Next Possible
5 Hobbys
4 CD
2 BC
3 TRR
5 FF

Not sure about this one only because I'm not 100% sure how the team will preform with only 4 CDs. Especially without the Troll to help hold the middle down like the 2nd one.

And lastly.

3 Hobby
6 CD
2 BC
2 RR
6 FF

I personally think any of the 4 rosters will work out well, but which do you guys think is probably the best?

I just opted for the final one for a lineup I was making yesterday. My logic is it takes a loooooooooooooooong time to develop BCs and CDs, so start with a full complement even if it takes forever to afford more rerolls.

I've honestly had no problems devolping my BCs in the past. Usually 2 games is all it takes to get them each their first skill. As I do my best to score with them. That is depending completly what team I'm playing against though. CDs however skill up very slowly. Then again you don't have to give them block or tackle, just gaurd. So that works out. Its okay for them to skill up slow when the already start with so much.

How the doodly do you give them the ?%$# ball? I can't manage to get the ball in their stinking hands with either pickups or hand-offs, and it's irritating as poop.

I guess I just have better luck on the dice rolls than you then. Honestly though, they kick to you. Try to pick up the ball with one. Its5 50/50 you will. With a reroll its 75% of the time you should be getting the ball.

personally, my chaos dwarves roster (for tournaments/one off games) is:

6 Chaos Dwarves
5 Hobgoblins
2 Bull Centaurs

1 Re-Roll
5 Fan-Factor

Its a real solid team ive found, able to take on any other teams, without to much worry or fear. its beat wood elves, lizardmen, skaven, high elves, necromantic.... in the last 6 games, ive won 5 lost one with it.

For a leauge, drop a hobgoblin so you have 9 fan factor. this will increase your winnings a lot :D

also, dont be so keen to take a big guy, these should be seen as a cool addition, not as a nessecity. chaos dwaves can hold there own wivout a troll or minotaur

also, use your hobgoblins to pick up the ball, ag 3 without any tackle zones is picking up the ball on 3+, then run like hell!

or hand-off to a bull centaur, then run like hell! bash anything that dares to block a sprinting st 4 b.c

also, ive found that its useful to use the hobgoblins to score the trys, the cd's to block/hold the opposition, and the bc's to fill in or run round causing openings

All four could work, depending on the setting you play in. In a longer league the one you already qualified as most likely would be my favorite. If the league is short, or even a tournament, just drop ff to but whatever you may want. 80k gives a lot of options....

Well, not really sure how long the league is actually goign to be, maybe 6 weeks and 2 games a week. Plus playoffs, and hopefully if the team does well enough I'll roll it over into the next league. Unless I'm tired of playing CD and want to go back to my normal run and gun skaven.

I've started my last couple of chaos dwarf teams like this:

6 Hobgoblins
3 CD
2 BC
3 TRR
8 FF

Agreed 3 chaos dwarfs doesn't make for a very tough team, but I just find the rerolls so important for this team that I want to start with 3 of them straight away. If you want to develop your bull centaurs you need to score with them and to score with them you need rerolls. That is my experience.
