Troll vs Mino for CDs

Hi!

I found a few posts to that topic scattered around somewhere and thought I open a new post for getting more into detail.

I can pick either a troll or a mino for my chaos dwarfs. Now, some people are against a mino because of current wild animal rules which may cause you too much turn overs.

Others say minos are great and should be used in your backfield.

I don't think this should be repeated here all over again.

But have you made experience with a troll on such a slow team? More reliable, yes...but what about really stupid?? Turnovers because of blocks? Too slow? Only good for early games? no real thread in your whole team for the backfield on defense??

I've had experience with it, and so has another coach in my league. Thing is, you don't need a big guy roaming your backfield on defense, because you have a player who's much more reliable and can do a better job of it: the bull centaur. With block and break tackle, combined with his ST4, MA6, sprint and sure feet, he makes the perfect blitzer.

What you do need is more maiming power. 6 chaos dwarves are nice, but a troll complements them very well. Especially with block and pilling on!
