Norse Mino rolls 11. Take the +AG or something else?

TR= 155

1 Thrower w/ +ag and +ma
1 Catcher w/ NoS
3 Blitzers... 1 has Stand Firm
8 Lineman w/ assorted skills (DP, kick, pass block, +St)

And the Minotaur in question. Really don't know what to pick, leaning toward the +AG. Any reasons not to take it?

Thanks for any help.

You can chose an ordinary skill. You can try to make him your ball carrier with AG§. But otherwise it is not so usefull as you can get break tackle. I don't know if I would keep the skill. I think give him the ball and he will score quite easy. But if you don't want ot score with him I would give him break tackle just that your opponents have to fear that you can blitz their expensive players altothough you are in a tackle of a cheap one.

Just my opinion!

I'd give him the ag and youse him as my ballcarrier whit ag 3 you can hand of the ball to him and block/blitz your way through, then again maybe your overall av is a bit to low to play da blocking wayz and get to many cas before you score against high av high st teams

+AG is utterly useless... a ball carrier with such a strong negatrait ? it's not Bonehead or Really Stupid, it's actually a 4+ just to move. that'd be a waste, get a useful skill instead.

you could always "waste" a blitz every turn with the mino to get him to move on a 2+. you dont have to actually throw the block, just use the action to keep him moving. cheesy, but legal. you're still giving up your blitz action every turn.

I'd agree with passing up the AG for a normal skill though. The mino should be clearing the way for your ballcarrier, not *be* the ballcarrier.

I'd say you have a fair ball carrier in that thrower anyway.

Why waste your blitz in such a way? the mino could actually just hit someone on his way and keep moooo-ving.

that said, i would skip the AG+...WA is not a good negtrait for a ballcarrier. he needs to know his role, and his role is to whack the hell out of people. give him break tackle instead.

Just take a skill. WA combined with Big Guy makes any amount of AG virtually useless. If you ever needed to use an AG3 mino, you would probably be in a lot of trouble ...

And if your opponent puts his players not between the Mino and his end-zone ?

Take a skill rather than the AG increase. Break Tackle will be more useful than AG 3.

then you're being too narrow-minded in your view of "in the way"; if he has a player standing anywhere in the mino's range, it's between him and the end zone. :)

i still don't think he should take the ag+ though. :)

I'd take the +AG because it's funny.

I agree. Although the +AG is almost useless its still got much more character than Guard or Break Tackle.

May be, but I doubt having players with character will win many games

 And of course nothing apart from victory matters, does it?
