+1M on a Mummy?

Post by Xzar »

Would you take +1M on a mummy?
The advantage would be standing up + blitzing without a GFI.

But it takes a slot away from other skills.

This is the first star player roll.

Yes and definately think of Jump Up, Sprint, and Sure Feet for advancements in general. Assuming of course its in your current ruleset, the pbbl for instance allows for such things. The biggest weakness of Mummies is, speed, anything that can reduce that is a good thing. Agility may be lower but break tackle should be enough to deal with that in most cases, especially if u only have mv of 3. If u need more than one dodge in 3 mv, u should probably have another player do the blitz anyways.

That sums it up really ... you have a big guy whose negatrait is basically MV3 ... so the upgrade to MV4 basically gives you a Troll without RS, but with access to general skills. I'd take that. :D

If it's a medium/long-term league (15+ games), then definitely take it. If not, then I'd think twice.

However, if it's a double you rolled (5 5), then I'd probably take stand firm instead.

And don't forget the ability to use rerolls. MA is very, very nice.

Ok I will take the MV.

I may think twice if he get another MV though because then it will be a long time before he gets block and stops the TOs.
